    THE CULMINATION OF A DECADE

TEN YEARS, ONE DECADE, ONE SHOW: X
This past Sunday, we experienced the greatest show in the history of the XWF and were treated to some of the best matches that the XWF has ever produced and we even got a few surprises thrown in there! We opened up with a red carpet-type ceremony, where STEVE SAYORS talked to LEE STONE, BIG SHANK, RANMA SAOTOME, HUNTER RYAN, DANTE ANGLAIS and BIGG RIGG as well as guests for the show, HARDCORE SMITTY and THE OUTSIDER STONE and even one of the greatest legends in XWF history, THE BRAND!

As the show itself got under way, we experienced three different video packages to open up the show and the in ring action started off with a huge bang too. In the opening match of the night, the XWF Hart Champion, DANTE ANGLAIS defeated ‘X EFFECT’ BRIAN CADY in a Non-Title wrestling clinic. After the match, X EFFECT extend a hand to DANTE who refused it before leaving CADY to get attack by ‘DOUBLE G’ GRAPPLING GARY and a crowbar. At this time we do not know how either CADY or GARY are in terms of being able to compete but it sure isn’t the end of that rivalry. In the Battle Of The Ryan Brothers, HUNTER came out victorious, putting his brother NICK to sleep with THE NAP and forcing the submission victory in another top drawer match. Next up, we had the XWF X-Treme Title match, featuring a victory for PWE! PWE’s RW Randolph came in and defeated PETER GILMOUR, EVAN PIERCE, THE SENTINEL, POETIC DEATH and CHRIS HARRIS in an Electrified Cage Match to become the new X-Treme Champion and take the belt over to the PWE. What does this now mean for the future of the X-Treme Title? Is it now the PWE X-Treme Title?

Back in the ring, CHAD and WANNABE fought to a draw in there ‘Get Out Or Get Out’ Cage Match and CHAD then dropped a bombshell on JONATHYN by quitting the XWF!! What does this mean for WANNABE? And why did CHAD quit? In the Canadian Invitational, a fatal four way match to determine the last XWF Canadian Champion, it came down to a video replay as JOSE CHAVEZ pinned SCOTT CHARLOTTE following the Tornado as CENTURION made MICHAEL EXTREMER submit to the Fall Of Rome but in the end, the victory went to JOSE CHAVEZ in somewhat of an upset as CENTURION ended his career on the end of a loss. After the match, JOSE thanked CENTURION for allowing him to even be in the match and all the members of The Prophecy and The Wildcard’s all made there down to the ring to say goodbye to CENTURION in style, goodbye forever and take care ANDY!! There were many of the fans now hyped up; TRENT GEIN Vs ZACH RIZZA was up next in an X-Treme Rules Match. Unfortunately for these fans, this match never took place. ZACH RIZZA and TRENT GEIN both quit, possibly for good and called the match off in a mutual agreement. A lot of the fans were upset but it may have been the right call for both men. Good luck to the both of them in the future.

A Legend Vs Legend Match was up next as LEE STONE was to pit himself against AIDAN COLLINS but STEVE SAYORS was more than disturbed to find markers on the doors of both AIDAN COLLINS, saying ‘MAIN EVENT OR GTFO’, and LEE STONE, claiming ‘MIDCARD FEARS LEE STONE’. Would this match be cancelled too?!?! The show continued as The Prophecy, represented by MIA SANCHEZ, ROXY NOVA and JAMES RAVEN, teamed up with RAGE to take on PWE’s (Un)Stable, represented by TOMOKO HANAHARA, THE LUNATIC, LEGION and HAWAIIAN HARDHEAD in a tag team elimination match. HHH and LEGION fell quickly at the hands of MIA SANCHEZ and ROXY NOVA respectively before TOMOKO countered back, eliminating ROXY and MIA herself. JAMES and RAGE came back and eliminated both THE LUNATIC and TOMOKO HANAHARA to claim the victory for there own. Next up was the hotly anticipated Triple Threat Legend-Maker Ladder Match, pitting XWF Classic JASON CASH against former Universal Champion RAZIEL and PWE Owner, C2, CHRISTIAN CONNOLLY. At the end of the bout, it was CONNOLLY who claimed the win and the Legend status he so rightly deserved and, post-match, he was greeted and congratulated by his good friend, LEE STONE, before heading back up the ramp, officially an XWF Legend. Also following the match, BIGG RIGG attacked JASON CASH and took him out with The Rage before claiming he didn’t deserve to be in the match. What would CASH do in return?

The next match on the card was the Classic Battle Royal, a match that nobody knew who would be competing in and it threw up arguably the biggest shock of the night. There were returns for FAMINE OF THE VILE, SPICE ONE and DANIEL MALCOLM, as well as a one night only performance from ANDREW GIBSON, but the biggest shock of them all was the return of TONY CAPRETTI. Not only did TONY shock the XWF by making his return but he also eliminated both GIBSON and DANIEL MALCOLM to claim the victory in the biggest shock of the night! Even JONATHYN was lost for words! Following TONY’s shock victory, another XWF Legend made his presence felt as THE BRAND took to the ring and presented a speech about missing the XWF before yet again getting that cheap pop for even turning up. That limelight stealing... Back in the ring, STEVE JASON was all prepared to do battle with BIGG RIGG for one last time when JASON CASH returned fire and attacked JOHN GAMBINO from behind, laying him out. Had JASON CASH robbed us of STEVE JASON’s farewell match on top of the loss of RIZZA/GEIN and STONE/COLLINS? Whilst this was still all up in the air, the show continued as JEM WILLIAMS took on CHRONIC CHRIS PAGE for the Number One Contendership to the XWF Universal Title. JEM and CHRIS both went at it, hell for leather, but, in the end, JEM WILLIAMS claimed the victory, forcing CHRIS PAGE to submit to The Realizing Pain now setting his sights firmly on the XWF Universal Championship.

Next we received a very pleasant surprised, LEE STONE and AIDAN COLLINS had just been playing to be moved up the card! They made to the ring following JEM/PAGE and competed in an awesome match that showcased both men’s pure wrestling abilities. LEE STONE dislocated AIDAN’s shoulder during the match, but AIDAN still valiantly fought on before being taken down again, this time with The World’s Greatest DDT and that was enough to get LEE STONE the victory in the battle of the egos. LEE STONE had said this will be his last match and, if that’s the case, all the best in the future LEE. Finally, one of the most hotly anticipated match of the whole night came to pass as RANMA SAOTOME defended his coveted XWF Universal Championship against his toughest challenger to date, BIG SHANK. The two warriors took to the ring and fought with everything they had, fight tooth nail and claw, battling and beating each other to within an inch of there lives. Ultimately, the end had to come and it did, BIG SHANK hit RANMA with The Shankstopper for the second time in the match, this time getting the three count to become the new XWF Universal Champion and finally end the reign of RANMA. Huge congratulations go out to our brand new Universal Champion, BIG SHANK, big props!!

As the night came to a close and the fans began to leave the arena, STEVE JASON made his way out to the ring to give one last speech, apologizing for not having one last match at X, when ‘Bounce’ hit the PA System and BIGG RIGG came out and told STEVE that he was ready to go. STEVE JASON VS BIGG RIGG: BACK ON!! These two XWF Legends, behemoths with the company and two of the titans of the entire wrestling industry, took to the ring and did battle like they had never done before, exchanging some of there toughest moves. Both men hit nearly every move in there arsenal to try and get the victory, RIGG hitting The Road Rage and twice hitting The Rage but to no avail. STEVE also hit the S3 twice, nailed the Ground Zer0 and even put RIGG through the announcers table at ringside with the Avenging Hell but even that wasn’t enough to get the three count. As both men struggled to even stand, having given this match everything they got, they both went in for the kill at the same time, but the wily Australian was that much quicker, hitting the Ground Zer0 before setting RIGG up on the top rope and nailing the S3 for the third time in the match before making the cover and getting the one, two, three. As STEVE JASON got to his feet after that war, everyone from STEVE’s past made there way out to the ring, be it DANIEL MALCOLM, TALIA RICHARDS, JONATHYN BROWN, LEE STONE, SHANE CARVER, JEM WILLIAMS or even his best friend, DOUGY MCNAMARA, they were all there too see arguably the greatest XWF superstar off all-time off into the sunset as X, and ten years of non-stop XWF action, went off the air. THE ACTION NEVER SLOWS DOWN IN THE XWF!!

    QUOTE OF THE MOMENT
    XWF
CHASM on the REVOLUTION of his CAREER
"Maybe I should just quit again, it would make a lot of people happy plus I wouldn’t have to see my legacy go down the drain anymore then it already has. I used to be up and coming, when people thought about XWF’s next big things my name was mentioned and now I’m a f*cking joke. I’m on the same level of the Honky Lighthouse, Dr. Badd and Scotty Danger. When a wrestler seew that they are facing me the first thing that pops into their head is sweet nice win' and that pisses me off because I know deep down that I am better then half of the roster, I just have to find a why to prove it."
