    WHAT A MONTH!!!

Turmoil in The XWF? Who's Running Things?

An explosive Thursday Night Anarchy kicked off this week with GM JENSEN KENT coming out to a huge ovation from the sold-out South Carolina crowd! He made his way to the ring with the now vacant Universal Title slung over his shoulder and a grin on his face. Once in the ring, KENT announced he had plans to give the Universal strap to a certain someone who, he felt, had paid his dues in his fiver-year tenure in the XWF. Who would this person be? The fans would have to wait until later on in the night to find out!

QC THUG and HADES squared off in the first match of the evening. THUG continued to impress since his return by taking out the much larger opponent with relative ease. Backstage, C.H.A.D. continued his personal campaign to convince someone to believe he was ready for the big time and a match for the United States Title. He barged in on JENSEN KENT in a quite precarious position with the ever mysterious MISS TERRY. After a brief and awkward discussion with the GM, a very nausiated C.H.A.D. retreated from the office to make way for the next match of the evening.

The "X EFFECT" BRIAN CADY went one-on-one with new Cruiserweight Champ, CHASM and in his first match back, CADY did not disappoint, as he claimed victory over a champion! A very displeased GM came out after the match to voice his concern about the true heart and determination that CHASM as a champion. So for the next two weeks, CHASM must win his next two matches, starting with DARK KAMEN next week...or CHASM is stripped of his Cruiserweight belt!

The new muscle of the XWF and lackey to THE CONFESSOR, THE PHANTOM saw action against C.H.A.D. in his first match on Anarchy. It was a solid match, for sure, but in the end, C.H.A.D. was no match for the brutality of the new masked-man in the XWF! PHANTOM picked up his first win in the ring to the delight of THE CONFESSOR. An obviously beaten down FAMINE OF THE VILE arrived at the arena bandaged and wrapped just moments later to a champion's welcome from a few superstars in the back. Wasn't FAMINE done after RAGE IN THE CAGE? Why was he on Anarchy? This question would soon be answered...

JACK NATION put up a valient fight against the United States Champion, DANTE ANGLAIS in a US Title match, but unfortunately came up short as DANTE retained his belt and continued his impressive run as US Champion. After the match, as NATION was trying to recover, BRIAN CADY came out to the ring and made sure he made his statement clear to JACK NATION that their business from six months ago was not over. CADY planted NATION back in the middle of the ring, stating that their business was not finished and that he deserved the US Title a lot more than JACK. What's to become of this on-going rivalry?

Finally, the moment the whole sold-out arena had been waiting for! JENSEN KENT came back down to the ring with the Universal Title to finally announce who his interim champion would be. All in attendance did not seem too surprised to find that FAMINE OF THE VILE was introduced as the new champ! FAMINE had finally done it! He'd added the top prize in this business to his already stellar resume! However, new XWF owner, JASON CASH, interrupted the celebration, to the chagrin of FAMINE and KENT, stating that he was the one who made the rules and had the final say. After KENT'S challenge to face CASH for sole possession of the company fell on deaf ears, once again, CASH made a blockbuster announcement for DEVASTATION later this month! FAMINE would defend his newly acquired Universal Title against JOHN GAMBINO and a man to be named later in a triple-threat match! The crowd popped at the mention of the returning legend...but who was this other opponent?

In the main event, NICK RYAN defended his Hart Title against the legend in the making former leader of the Prophecy, JAMES RAVEN. NICK fought valiantly only to lose to RAVEN and after just a short time as a double-champion, NICK RYAN no longer wore gold around his waist, having lost the Cruiserweight strap back at RAGE IN THE CAGE to CHASM. A defeated NICK RYAN seemed to have impressed RAVEN who stood proud in the ring having won the Hart Title for the very first time! However, in an announcement that is sure to bring prestige back to his newly won title, RAVEN announced he would hold a tournament for anyone who was interested in claiming the Hart Title for their own. Who will step up and challenge for the title that had been all but an after-thought to most superstars over the last couple of years?

As Anarchy went off the air, the audience was shocked to hear JASON CASH in the back having a phone conversation with the third man in the triple-threat match for the Universal Title at DEVASTATION. It would be the returning BIG SHANK to face FAMINE OF THE VILE and BIGG RIGG JOHN GAMBINO! What a match that will be! A sure classic in the making! What will the fall out be from the events that have taken place this week on Anarchy? Next week will be a sure "can't miss" Anarchy live from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri! DON'T MISS THE ACTION! THE ACTION NEVER SLOWS DOWN IN THE XWF!!

    QUOTE OF THE MOMENT
    XWF
BIG SHANK on How the Job Altered His Perception:
"I was so damned good at running this place that I even let the job get the better of me. After four months of studying every move you fucking retards made I actually let myself fall into it. I started to think that Ranma Saotome was unbeatable, I found myself thinking that Hunter Ryan might just be a worthy World Champion. Hell, I even started thinking that James Raven was actually funny. Sadly, that’s what happens when you surround yourself with mediocrity – you start to think that’s all there is. Don’t believe me? Try this. Put yourself in a room with ten ugly women (or dudes, to each his own) for an hour, then walk out and tell me you didn’t convince yourself fucking one of them would have been a good idea. Mediocrity is contagious gentlemen; that’s just the way the world works... "
