Tonberry King Quest: On your way out of Centra Ruins, you may want to take the challenge of the Tonberry King's quest. A new GF. This is NOT an easy task. To prepare, stock up on Phoenix Downs and Hi-Potions. I also suggest that a character is Junctioned with Diablos at 100% compatability. If you don't have 100% compatability, junction it to the character it has most compatability with. Sounds a bit hard, doesn't it? You'll find a lot of Tonberrys near the entrance of the Ruins. You need to kill 18 - 22 Tonberrys to lure out the Tonberry King. Tonberrys are evil.They have a powerful random counterattack called everyone's grudge. It cause about 2000 points of damage from one opponent. And that's not all, you only receive 1 AP and 0 EXP if you defeat it. Kinda Sux, huh? To defeat them, make 1 player have the Item command. They should be fully stocked with Phoenix Downs and Hi-Potions. Make one character have Diablos at Max Compatability. Demi is also a good spell. Make only the person with Diablos attack so it'll limit the Tonberrys counterattack. Don't let the Tonberrys get too close though or else it will use Chef's knife, an attack that takes away 4000 HP away from someone. After defeating enough Tonberrys, the Tonberry King will appear after you kill the Tonberry. The Tonberry King, however, is immune to Diablos! It is weak against Ice and Absorbs Fire. Its HP depend on what Level you're on.
