Superhero Pick'Em
Ok gentlemen, it's time to bring on a new aspect of what we consider an already great game. I'll call it superhero pick 'em. I'll pick superhero's to go against eachother each week, and you pick who would win, also picking a score if you deem it necessary. we'll start off lightly, and progressively get more and more matches- G
The basis for the rules in this brand spanking new situation is based upon the knowledge and fair judgement of a panel consisting of G and Ted and Pool Floaties. These will be fair and unbiased judgements (assuming Tedzilla doesn't have a match) but otherwise we should be nice and yes, we accept bribes. At the end of the season (whatever the "season" entails) maybe we'll make t-shirts... buy dinner.. CiCi's- yep. But we're just gonna start here and see if it blows up.
RULES OF THE GAME
- One entry per contestant per round
- Every contestant must submit upon entry a representing superhero
- Every pick must be justified in a reasonable amount of words (If it's too much we won't read it)
- Every pick should contain a football score of the results and should be included in the justification
- Your pick needs to be justified through a reasonable or unreasonable argument presented humorously.
- Points will be awarded as:
- 3 points: correct pick and strong (funny) supporting argument
- 2 points for correct pick
- 1 point for well supported incorrect pick
- 0 for stupid stuff(even if you pick correctly)
- Extra Points will be added for scores within 10
- Winner will receive free bragging rights until next week unless undefeated.
- Tiebreakers will be settled by fights to the death of representative superheroes
- After meeting with the floaties, we have decided that no person shall be allowed to have Ditka as his representing superhero. "Ditka too good" -floatie #3
