Spin's SDOE Plane Pack Website
Update: June 24, 2002: It's been a long time. I apologize for not keeping the site updated. For a bunch of reasons, I've let it go. Mainly I changed my computer and email address and couldn't replicate my ftp / account settings. I'm back up to speed and thinking about a facelift. There's lots I could do. I see the site still gets some traffic so I'll put some thought into it.
- STAY TUNED.
Update: May 18, 2001: The final version of the next planepack (Version 6.1) is now available for download. Please provide comments/bugs through the FSIC forum or directly to me via the submit forms. Do not download if you are uncomfortable with managing SDOE's parfiles. Caution this pack overwrites data12.par and data13.par. This is not online standard yet, pending comments / problems I hope it will be soon. Get it here(15mb). Also, review the readme before installing. Currently you must have planepack 6.0 for it to work. Two versions will be released, one for new users and the smaller download for those with planepack 6.0. Planepack 6.1 has been made into an installer and is availalble from The SimFactory and from here.
Several bugs reported from the betas have been corrected in this version. Thanks to those that tested and reported bugs in the earlier betas.
I am now moving forward with PP6.2. A lot of new aircraft and changes to existing are available but were too significant to include in PP6.1. Expect to see betas soon.
Jan 17, 2001, I've updated and reformated the site, to improve navigation and get ready for updating the planepack to 6.1. Lot's of new improvements are coming forward that promise to enhance online play. The new site is going to grow over the next little bit as I add sections to describe the status of aircraft development within the community. I won't be able to keep up to date on everything, so if anything is outdated send me a note and I'll try to update obsolete info.
If you don't have the planepack go here to download it (and learn more about the current SDOE online standard):
To learn more about what is happening and how the planepack is evolving check out the planepack and aircraft development sections.
This site manages the planepack for Fighter Squadron: Screamin' Demons Over Europe.
