The Vocabulary of Magic

• Beatdown: A creature attacks multiple times and deals damage every attack.
  
• Fatty: Creature with power 5 or greater.
  
• Burn: Red direct damage card.
  
• Combo: Two cards put together that have a greater effect while both in play.
  
• Stalemate: Both players have creatures but are not willing to attack.
  
• Mana Screwed: Losing the game due to lack of lands.
  
• Mulligan: Shuffling your hand into your deck and drawing 6 cards. A player may repeat this as much as they like but they draw 1 card fewer each time.
  
• Poke: When 1 damage is dealt to a player or creature.
  
• Trading Creatures: When both player's creatures die in combat.
  
• Weenie: A 1/1, 2/1, or 1/2 creature.
