THE RETURN OF REVOLVER...
That shocking conversation between Revolver Ocelot and Solidus after the credits of Metal Gear Solid was an amazing end to an amazing game, and sets up the incredible sequel, Sons of Liberty. MGS 2:SoL will take place in New York City, mainly in the harbour aboard a giant steamship. The Sons of Liberty are the new enemies this time, replacing Fox-Hound from the previous games. A new Metal Gear will be introduced, called Metal Gear Ray, and will storms the streets of New York just like Godzilla. It is said that Metal Gear Ray will be able to transform into a kraken-like creature and swim across the New York harbour. Not a lot of Metal Gear Solid 2's plot is known now, but more info is soon to come...
The Story So Far...
The story is set a number of years after Solid. Metal Gears are no longer special weapons, and every Third World country now has one. The country that Snake works for has developed a new Metal Gear, and its primary purpose is to destroy the now-diminutive (in comparison) Metal Gears.
"The vector?"
"Yes sir, FoxDie should become activated soon right
on schedule."
"Yes sir, I recovered all of Rex's dummy warhead data."
"No sir, my cover is intact, nobody knows who I really
am. Yes, the DARPA chief knew my identity, but he
has been disposed of."
"Yes, the inferior one was the winner after all......thats
right. Until the very end Liquid thought that he was the inferior one."
"Yes sir, I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual
such as yourself to rule the world."
"No sir, no one knows that you were the third one,
Solidus."
"What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep
her under survellience."
"Yes, Thank You. Good-Bye..........Mr. President."
