It has been 80 years since the founder of your tribe trod across the waste, now it is your turn.

In fallout 2 you play a tribal man/woman whose village is beyond hope of surviving without a thing called a geck, short for Garden of Eden Creation Kit.The main problem is that you can't find one without venturing out into the the vast wasteland. The world is not what it used to be, espically since it has already experience a gobal nuclear diseaster.

In your quest to find a geck you would be free to move around any where in the given map. You would meet others like you who are keen in exploring what laid ahead of them in the waste. Some would become your pal or companion while others are eyeing on your possessions, it is hard to guess whom or what u would meet in the this brave new world. You could just meet travellers like you or mutated creatures that are out to kill anything that moves.

Learn new skills called perks during your jouney, there are over 100 of them to choose from - such as being a demolition expert, during the jouney . If learn is boring and all you want to do is to kick some butt, there is also a vast variety of weapons to choose from, arm yourself with big bad weapons ranging from ordinary pistol to machineguns and even rocket launchers, many of them are modified from actual weapons. The game boast of additional features you would ask of a RPG game-like smarter enemies with higher IQ, who know how to trap u easily to things like sex and romance it is almost like the real world!

Game-play is similar to the orignal fallout which is real time except during combat times. During a combat encounter the controls would be turn-based which mean you can plan what steps should be taken without any risks of sneak attacks. There is a click to find out function which lets you gather info of your surroundings just by clicking.

If you have about one month to spare why not use this time to enjoy this game about a near future nuclear meltdown. I did.
