By Sean Johnston Street Fighter sucked, Double Dragon was worst, Super Mario Bros. was no better, Mortal Kombat was decent but the sequal was pitiful and we won't even get into Pokemon. Will gamers ever get a truly great Game based Movie? But the big question is if the Final Fantasy Movie will continue the high standards of the Video Game series? So what is the premise of the movie?.

on the backstory of the Final Fantasy

Beyond the riveting battle scenes, Final Fantasy will take you on a journey of personal discovery into both the real and fantasy worlds, drawing you deep into its characterizations and themes: love, friendship, dreams, adventure, life and death. It seems as though Square Hawaii is promising a lot but we all know that they can easily accomplish a movie that fullfills human emotion to connect the viewer to the movie. The scene when Aeris dies to the hands of Sephiroth and Cloud gently places her in the water as she slowly drifted to the bottom of the crystal clear lagoon. And the scene when Rinoa was in space gasping for air are both great examples of how Square is a master of toying with human emotions.
Above are two great examples of what Square can really do with the imaging software at there Honolulu, Hawaii offices. Before the project started, they searched the world for the finest Classic and Computer animators. Many, many members of the development team are animators from Disneys' Mulan and Hercules as well as Computer animators who have worked on such projects as Godzilla and Titanic.
