Welcome to the Fushigi Yuugi section! This anime/manga is also known as "Fushigi Yugi: The Mysterious Play,' but I simply call it by the two 'u'ed counterpart. The series is absolutely WONDERFUL, spanning 52 episodes in length, not counting the OVAs. While devistatingly expensive (the first half of the episodes, in boxset, costs 200, same with the last set.. 400 right there.. the ovas sell anywhere from 40 to 70 dollars a piece.. if you're lucky.. so you're probably better off getting Hong Kong Import if you REALLY want to see the series..) It's the story of a girl named Miaka, who finds a magical book and gets sucked inside it, becoming the priestess of suzaku, and being obligated to save that particular world. Whee.
