Story: Arden is a young mercenary, outcast by society. His pariah
caste comes from the fact that his mother was human and his father a warlock. He was abandoned by his mother when she found that he had rather 'devilish' tendencies. He would perform small feats of
'majik' or horrificly beat local bullies; the town looked down upon this. A wandering sorcerer took him into his care, teaching the boy the black arts as well as some menial fighting skill. He sought escape from a world where he was either looked down upon or sought
as a tool. Ironically he became a mercenary leader. While in camp one night, it was attacked by orcs and trollocs. His young mistress was taken from her tent (presumably to be roast on a spit). He is on a quest to find her, and is a chaotic neutral, though HIGHLY
intolerant of orcs and trollocs.
