OUTTRIGGER is Sega`s Attempt to beat QuakeIII Arena at its own game,And its Blatantly obvious where SEGA got the Inspiration and ideas from for OUTTRIGGER.The game is set in the future and played in battle Arena`s, ranging from dissused railway stations to Castle Ruins, And a lot of other different arenas which you can run around,FRAGGING the HELL out of other like minded FRAGGERS, using an Arsenal of high powered futuristic weapons,Ranging from Flame throwers to Rocket Launches & Lasers that can Bounce from wall to wall until it reaches it target,etc,Being as its a NAOMI arcade game you can bet the Dreamcast version will be an exact replica in the Graphics department.With the Dreamcast conversion containing extra arenas & player models to choose from.It can also be Played in a Variety of different ways 1-4 player Split Screen mode,Online play where you can have Team matches,or go it alone against many other opponents all running around like Lunatics with one objective to FRAG you and as many other players as possible,When Playing OUTTRIGGER Online the game also has its own Chat Rooms, where you can meet up with your other Team Members.Considering this is SEGA`s First Attempt at an Arcade FPS it wll be interesting to see how it fares against the Mighty QuakeIII Arena & Half Life in the battle of the Dreamcast FPS Wars.
