This document explains a way to get Pokemon Silver or
Gold Game Genie codes to work on a Gameboy Color.

Before you try this method, let me give you a bit of
a warning... There is a possibility that this method
may erase your saved game, so use this method at your
own risk.


Insert an older Gameboy game (one that works with the
Game Genie) and turn on the power switch.  As soon as
you see "Created by Codemasters" start to scroll down
the screen, pull the game straight out of the Game Genie
(while leaving the power turned on) and then insert the
Pokemon Silver or Gold cart into the Game Genie.  It
may take more than one try to get it to work.


Just remember that this method may erase your saved
game, so it is best if you use this method when you
don't care about your saved game, or when you are
starting a fairly new game (that way, if the saved
game is erased, it won't take you very long to get
back to where you were).
