"I'm sorry. The tram is down." Cloud looked at the attendant with a confused look. "So?" he asked. "I'm so sorry, but you can't leave here until it is repaired." "Great." Cloud thought to himself. Why did we have to get stuck here? They needed to stop Sephiroth. They knew where he was headed next, the Temple of the Ancients, but here they are stuck at the Gold Saucer. "Why the Gold Saucer?" he continued to think about it. Cloud looked behind him. From Aeris to Vincent, each of them had an upset face. "Okay, alright." Cloud replied the attendant. "I'll tell you when the tram is repaired." "Now what the hell do we do?" Barret asked with an extreme annoyed tone. "Anybody got any ideas?" Cloud asked. "I got an idea!" Cait Sith shouted. "We can stay at the Ghost Hotel. They know me there. I'll try to get some rooms." "Alright, go ahead." Cloud said as he waved his hand. Cait Sith galloped in front of everyone. Everyone followed Cait, while Cloud brought up the rear. He was busy looking down at the ground. Cloud looked up and then he glanced at his team and he noticed something. He saw Tifa looking back at him. When he saw her looking at him, she quickly looked away, as her cheeks show a hint of red. "What's wrong with her?" Cloud wondered.

"Its been a while we are together like this." Cait Sith replied. "Hey Cloud, why don't you tell us what's going on? I haven't been with you guys since the beginning, so I would like to hear what's going on?" "Same here." Cid agreed and Vincent nodded to show he wanted to hear Cloud's story. "I've been here since the beginning." Barret answered. "And I'm don't know what the hell is going on! Cloud, why don't you tell us again?" Cloud answered he'll tell them why their on their mission. He explained that they are after Sephiroth who was searching for the Promised Land. "The Promised Land?" Cait asked. "A land filled with Mako Energy...at least what the Shinra believes." As soon Cloud said this, Aeris stepped up and told the group what she had learned about the Promised Land and about her people. She said that her people, the Cetra, would travel this world until they find a land of happiness and bliss. She finally said that you feel like this, you'll find your Promised Land. "Do you feel it, Aeris?" Cloud asked. "I think so." she answered. "Wait a minute, so Sephiroth is searching the land, looking for the Promised Land." Tifa replied, "There is something else Sephiroth is after." Aeris replied. "The Black Materia." Cloud replied. "I heard from Dio that a man with a black cape asked him about a Black Materia." Cait Sith offered. "How many men with black capes are they?" Tifa wondered aloud. "You know...my tattoo is 13." Red XIII replied "Yeah, how did you get that tattoo?" Red explained that how Hojo placed it on him. "You know what I think?" Aeris said. "I think Hojo did something to those men. That's why, I think we should just go after Sephiroth and stop him from whatever he's planning to do." she continued. "And...never mind. I think I'm tired. I'm going to bed." Aeris left to go to her room. "What?? That's it!?! Gawd !! Forget this!! I'm going to bed !!!" Yuffie shouted as she followed Aeris toward her room. "But what about the Black Materia?" Cait asked. "You wouldn't understand." Cloud answered. "So now, we got to do is take action, tomorrow!" Barret shouted as he left. As soon as Barret left, Red XIII walked toward Cloud and asked whether he'll go insane. Tifa walked up toward him and tried to tell him not to worry. However, Red still had his doubts, and Tifa had to raise her voice and criticize him. Cloud was shocked at Tifa's reaction. When all of this was going on, Cid had fell asleep in his chair, and Vincent had to take him toward his room. Red left right after that, leaving Tifa and Cloud. Tifa quickly glanced back at Cloud as she left toward her room.

Cloud sat in his room looking outside the window in his room. He didn't know what to think. Just what was Sephiroth was planning, and whether or not he could stop him. His thoughts was interrupted by a soft rapping on his door. "Come in." he answered. The door opened and Tifa entered. "Yes, Tifa. What is it?" he asked. Tifa looked at Cloud for a brief moment before looking away as that same shade of red, Cloud saw when they were heading toward the Ghost Hotel earlier appeared on her face. "Cloud..." she began. "This is kind of embarrasing and I don't know if I could go through this." "What?" Cloud asked. Tifa took a breath and then said, "Why don't we sneak out of here and spend some time together?" Cloud was amazed at Tifa's request. "Umm, sure I guess." A small smile came across Tifa's face. "Well, let's go." she said as she pushed him out the door. During the commotion all Cloud could do was shouted a startled "Hey!"

As Cloud and Tifa emerged from the chute from the Ghost Hotel, they met an attendant shouting "Tonight is Enchantment Night! All attractions are free!" The same attendant walked over to them and replied, "Hello there! Why don't head to Event Square? There is going to be a play that is going to be performed tonight. Why don't you go check it out?" Tifa looked at Cloud. "C'mon Cloud. Let go check it out." Cloud nodded as Tifa led him toward the chute to Event Square.

"Congratulations! You're our 100th couple! You'll have the lead in tonight's play." Tifa smiled as Cloud looked at the attendant at the entrance with a surprised look. "Wha?" he finally managed to say. "Oh, its not so hard. Just act any way you want, and the rest of the cast will cover up for you. This way, please." "Let's go and try it out, Cloud." At first, Cloud was going to say he wasn't in the mood to do this, but he thought. "Well, Tifa is interested in doing this. May as well, do this...at least for her."

"Long ago, in the kingdom of Galdia..." Cloud stood backstage thinking to himself. "What the hell I got myself into? I'm no actor!" he thought to himself. "...The evil dragon king Vavaldos has just kidnaped the beautiful Rosa. What would become her?" "Speaking of which...where's Tifa?" Cloud wondered. The others actors and stage-hands told him she had a special part. "Just then, the legendary hero Alfred appeared." "Hey, that's you!" a stage-hand whispered to him. Cloud looked around, not knowing what to do, before he ran onto the stage. Fortunately, an actor dressed as a knight was there to meet him. "You must be the legendary hero, Alfred. You have come to save our beloved Rosa." Cloud looked around still not knowing what he was doing. "Hey, its your line." he heard the knight whispered to him. Cloud look at the knight and pointed to himself. "Yeah, you." the knight said and he continued, "Oh, you must be the legendary hero, Alfred. I feel it in my soul. Now please, you must talk to the king." At that time, the king entered the stage. "Oh you must be the legendary hero who have come to rescue our princess. But, you can't defeat the dragon king, Valvados by yourself. Speak to one who will help you." "Great." Cloud thought to himself. "I have to talk in this ridiculous play." He turned expecting to talk to the knight only to see a wizard had just entered the stage. Hoping he was making a good choice, he walked over to the wizard. He heard a sigh of relief coming from backstage signaling he did something right. "I'm the great wizard, Vorman. What do you wish to know?" the wizard asked. "Well, here goes." Cloud thought. "Oh, great wizard...I wish to know...how...I....might defeat....the....um....Dragon King?" he asked. "Vorman" looked at Cloud and then said, "Ah, the weakness of the Evil Dragon King. It must be....it must be....Yes, it must be..." "Damnit! Just say it already!" Cloud said to himself. "True Love!" the wizard shouted in grandeur "Yes, true love is the only weapon strong enough to fight the dragon. "True love?" Cloud didn't like the sound of that. "Oh what would happened next? Behold, legendary hero." Cloud finally was getting in his role looking around expecting the presence of Valvados. He looked up and what he saw surprised. A huge construction of a dragon with fire red skin and was breathing fire and smoke. It was fake, but it sure looked real, and in its hands was. "Tifa?" Cloud said to himself. The dragon landed on stage and placed Tifa on the ground and she was trying her best to look scared as she looked up. "So, Tifa is Princess Rosa." Cloud thought to himself. He finally was going on this play. "Please, save me, legendary hero." he heard Tifa asked and he saw her turning to the dragon and whispering, "...Like that?" "Ha-ha, I haven't hurt the princess. I've been waiting for you." the dragon shouting. "Now listen legendary hero to what would happened to your beloved." "Beloved?" Cloud was stunned when he heard that. "A kiss. The power of true love." "Oh no." Cloud thought. He was afraid of this. He glanced at Tifa and thought to himself, "How could I do this?" Yeah, he knew Tifa since they were kids, but he never thought of kissing her. He took a step after tortured step toward her and what he saw surprised her. She was waiting there for him. He saw it in her dark eyes shining. He tried to look somewhere else, but what he saw next drove a little bit more crazy. Her dark hair accentuated her face beautiful. The teardrop earrings she wore beautifully added a feminine touch to her face. He then looked at her body and the site of Tifa's body drove him up the wall. Just like him, she was still wearing the same clothes that they entered the Gold Saucer. A small T-shirt and a mini-skirt covered her body. Many parts of her body laid exposed. Cloud felt he would go insane. Just the sight of her graceful legs. her hips and her beautiful complexion, Cloud didn't know what he was feeling right there. He decided that he was going to kiss her and ask questions later. He picked up his pace and there he was, standing in front of Tifa. Tifa looked up at Cloud and blushed. Seeing Tifa that shy, all Cloud could think of, "Man, she sure is beautiful." He placed his left hand in Tifa's gloved hand, the other on her face, and he lowered his head. Tifa ,at the same time, raised her head to meet Cloud. Their lips came together and their there were. They were holding each other hands. Their lips locked on each other. Tifa, feeling a lttle more adventerous, opened her mouth and Cloud accepted her tongue trying to enter his. They stayed what seemed like an eternity locked in that french kiss They finally released their kiss. Tifa looked at Cloud. "Cloud..." she began before she smiled she closed her eyes, leaned onto Cloud, and smiled, "I mean, Alfred." "Curses! The power of...love!" Valvados shouting, saying love like it was an obscenity. The dragon immediately left the stage. "Behold, the dragon was been defeated. Let's us all go home and celebrate." the king responded. "Vorman" agreed as the play had drew to a close.

"That was funny, wasn't it?" Tifa asked as they emerged from Event Square. "Yeah, I guess." Cloud replied. "Do you want to go on the gondola next?" she asked. "Sure." he replied. After they received their tickets, they entered the gondola. They sat down opposite sides of the gondola. Tifa was looking outside, saying how the park looked so beautiful in the nighttime. She then looked at Cloud and said. "Oh, I'll just come out and say it." "Say what?" Cloud asked. "I think Aeris would have an easier time saying what I want to say." "What?" Cloud asked. "Cloud, sometimes its tough for me to be just friends with you. Timing is everything." "What was she trying to say?" Cloud wondered. "Cloud....I............" Tifa started to say but she didn't complete the sentence. The ride concluded and they left the gondola. "I had a great time, tonight." Tifa replied. "By the way, what did you want to say back there?" Cloud asked. "Nothing." Tifa quickly replied. Cloud looked at Tifa a bit unsure wanting to know why Tifa acting like the way she was. "Oh, look at the time. Its getting late. Why don't we head back?" Tifa quickly responded.

Cait Sith was a traitor. Cloud and Tifa found Cait Sith giving the Keystone to Tseng of the Turks. Cait Sith wanted to continue on the journey with them, and as leverage he tells them he has Marlene hostage. Since they didn't have a choice, they had to let Cait Sith stay with them. Cloud and Tifa returned to the Ghost Hotel and they went to their rooms. Tifa entered her room and thought, "What's wrong? Why couldn't I tell him? Cloud, I love you. I really do. So, why couldn't I tell you in the gondola?" Tifa laid in her bed. But before she went to sleep, she secretly made a vow. She will tell Cloud how she feels for him, sooner or later. She just hopes Cloud would feel the same for her.
