Game 2 Pikes 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 - 2 10 0 (14 innings) Sea Kings 0 1 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 - 3 8 0 W - Doval L - Wilson The Sea Kings pen fails in the 9th the second game in a row as Martin fails to hold the 2-1 lead allowing a 2 out double on a 66 HR converted to a double. The Pikes luck runs out there as they roll to extra innings. In the 10th Edman is thrown out at home trying to score from second off an Acuna single. Later in the 13th inning with two outs the Sea Kings walk Judge and Martinez back to back with two outs and the gamble pays off as PH Raley grounds out to end the inning. In the 14th Tatis leads off with a single but fails to score Raley who was the designated runner. Kim K’s and Edman ends the last good chance to score by lining out into a 4663 DP. Bottom of the 14th Franco is sacrificed to 3rd to start the inning and the Pikes bring in Wilson for the bump but Tucker gets the Sea Kings first hit in the 5 extra innings for the winning RBI. Game 3 Sea Kings 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 - 1 7 0 Pikes 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 - 0 5 0 W - Ohtani Hld - Doval SV - Martin L - Wells An Ohtani solo HR in the 3rd holds as he pitches 7 2/3 IP of scoreless ball and the pen finally holds. Game 4 Sea Kings 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 - 1 5 0 Pikes 0 0 1 0 0 1 0 0 0 - 2 7 0 W Castillo SV - Hader L - Scott Benson getting thrown out at home on a single trying to score from 2nd in the 1st inning was ominous. A Wade solo HR in the 2nd the only offense as the Sea Kings had one single in the 4th and a BB in the 9th. Castillo and Hader shut them down late as no Sea Kings reached base in the last 3 innings. A Raley go ahead HR in the 6th was all the Pikes needed to seal the deal. The Sea Kings had been riding high with good offense and were due for some cold die but they were cold all around. No team saw double digits in hits except for the Pikes who needed 14 innings to do that and still lost. 12 runs total between both teams in 41 innings played. Nuff said. On to the next series!
