Photos and Reports
January 27, 2001.. A day that will live in infamy!! Thanks to great Indiana weather I slid off the road doing a whopping 10mph. This is gonna cost me.
My MX-6 is currently in the body shop getting the bumper recovered and repainted.
The body shop tells me the Erebuni hoods dont usually fit good without alot of tweaking so I'll probably have to go with a new stock one.
April 25, 2001. The bumper has been recovered and the PPG paint matched up good. All I need now is a new hood, although the hood damage is not very noticeable.
June 7, 2001. Here's the most recent photo of my six.. You can barely see the hood damage from this distance.. but trust me- it's there!! I checked with my body shop about a custom hood with a functional hood scoop. Cost? Only about $1000! I'm going to have to wait a few more months for this upgrade.
July 24, 2001. I purchased a 3-1/4" intake hose from AutoZone for under $10 to attach to my HKS filter. The weather is getting hot here and my performance was suffering sucking in hot ambient engine air. It is noticably faster now and has a nice deep sound really noticeable around 2-4k RPMS
