In Final Fantasy 7 you use materia as magic. You can buy, find, sell, steal, and be given materia. There are five differant kinds of materia :
Summon Materia,
Independant Materia,
Support Materia,
Command Materia (coming soon!), and
Magic Materia (coming soon!)
