Why Ticketmaster is Nothing but a Bunch of Communist Bastards and Almost Screwed Me Out of a =w= Concert!

Ticketmaster may seem like a great thing. Sooo easy to get tickets, but have you ever stood in line for them? Let me tell you my experience. I'm an avid weezer fan if you couldn't tell by looking at my weezer page. My friend Matt and I are the most die hard weezer fans ever. We were up at Schnucks an hour or so before the tickets went on sale. There was only one man in front of us. As the people built up the Schnucks people started handing us these little raffle ticket type things. Then they picked a number and that number gets to go first followed by the next numbers. That would have meant that Matt and I would have almost been last!

This is where Matt's scam comes in. Luckily the I knew the guy that was drawn to go first. We asked him to buy our tickets for us. Then we went up and cancelled our tickets. The Schnucks people looked at us in disbelief because we had been waiting for so long, one of them asked me if we wanted lawn seats instead or a different payment method, I politely declined and walked off. We had our tickets baby! Oh and what tickets they were, Pointfest 2001 featuring our favorite band in the world, Weezer. Second row, center.

What I want to know is what ever happened to first come, first serve?? What's with this communistic divy up the ticket crap???? At one point I asked this question and they told me that Ticketmaster makes them do that. That's totally retarded and angers me because they almost made us miss the chance to get such great seats. Damn those TicketBastards!!!!!!!!!
