Going back to the stationary room sounded reasonable. You haul the painting to the stationary room. Now you'd really like a glass of water, but don't care to find some. You search fatuously for a flashlight in the junk drawn that you have encounter before.

Then you find the flashlight. It's red and full of scum. It doesn't work, when you test it. Then you notice in the drawn, that two batteries await you. You laugh to yourself, wondering how you missed them.
