You decide to walk into the house by the front door, so you can leave the package on the kitchen counter and be off. The only problem is when you walked into the house and took a step away from the door, someone cackled idiotically and the door shut.

When you tried the door, it was locked. You tried to reason with yourself, telling your mind: It must be an automatic locking door for safty purposes, since it's an old house.

So you look around and see that you're in the living room and to your right is a set of stairs. Further right is a door to the dining room and straight ahead is the door to the kitchen.

The house has dust everywhere, faint fingerprints engraved in the wood. The smell of the house had reminded you of a dead cat and when you made sound it would only scatter off the walls, like movement under water.

You try the door again, wondering if you turned the knob the wrong way, but it's still locked.
