You head over to a well sanded schooling ring ,
where a dark haired girl is putting a chestnut stallion through his paces.
That's Zoot Suit a voice says from behind.
Shannon must have followed you from the stables.
She continues talking. He's one of our stallions - a pure bred Thoroughbred , and a well trained horse.
Morganna's schooling him at the moment - she helps me with the horses , by the way.
I believe she has a soft spot for him and giggles.
You watch the stallion,interested. He IS good. As he executes a perfect flying change , Shannon tells you more.
Zoot Suit is being trained for the upcoming competitions . The great thing about him is that he is a great all-rounder.
You name it , he does it ! Racing , jumping , dressage , cross-country , he's done it all.
He's got a lovely temprament too - prehaps a little stubborn and fiery .
She smiles again. Sometimes I don't know who's more competetive , him or Morganna !
Shannon leads you past the ring , and to a large field where a lone black horse grazes.
This is where the stallions can relax , and this indicating to the stallion who comes trotting up is Picasso , a Fresian recently imported from overseas.
The stallion gives a whicker of pleasure at Shannnon ,
and after regarding you with curiosity , goes back to grazing.
Quiet chap really remarks Shannon a dreamer , I guess. Likes to be by himself sometimes , but gets on quite well with Z.
He hasn't been in any competitions yet , but he has heaps of potential - a lovely canter and stride suited for either dressage or showjumping.
But only time will tell, I guess.
As you head back towards the stables , you happen to glance at the paddock , and see that Morganna is schooling a new horse in the paddock.
You watch as the handsome bay prattically flies over a small jump in the paddock.
Pajazzo , our newest stallion and first pony. Shannon explains. He is a Welsh Cob , and as you can see , looks set to be an excellent jumper. He loves being with people too - more than the other stallions. He's MY personal favourite.
As you watch Pajazzo clear the jump again , you nod. He certainly is a very handsome stallion.
Shannon rummages in her pockets and brings out a (rather) crumpled piece of paper.
Stallions stats she says. Haven't had time to pin them up anywhere yet , but you can read them now if you wish.
