The waves crash against the shore..
the smell of salt and the sea fills your nose, and palm trees wave gently in the breeze.

Suddenly...the sound of wings beating fills the air.
A small grey pegasus swoops into view , and lands gracefully by your side.

A distant shape appears on the horizon , which you can distinguish as a large Pegasus.
*Hi Saphi! hello visitor!* The mare snorts.
*As you can see, she's grown into quite a lovely adult.
I always used to say she resembled her mother , but she looks like her a lot more now.*
When you ask the mare her name , she answers : *Mauin'Gally , Moon River. It's a lovely name, isn't it?*
Sapphira smiles.*Well,that's what she's supposed to be called.
But we couldn't find anyway of shortening it for everyday use.
However, it was Blue Phantom (Flame) who started calling her Lassie.And the name stuck.*
You smile , and watch the mare. She has a proud look about her , and one of elegance.
~Still off seeing Blue Phantom , then?~ you smile.
*Of course! Which reminds me , I have to go give her something. See you later , Saphi!*
With that , Lassie spreads her wings and flies off.
Sapphira watches her . *A true Flame , she is. Still very independent ,although she appears to have matured alot.
She is still off exploring , but not so much as she formerly did. She likes to stay and look after me..
and still the ocassional visit to Blue Phantom. The pair of them are the best of friends!
She's good at flying , too. Makes me jealous...soo graceful, she is...*
Sapphira grins.
*Well , I must be off now , I promised Skye I would drop by.*
And with that , Sapphira swoops up into the air , leaving nothing but a line of hoofprints in the sand.
Just then , you notice a ivory plaque nailed to a tree.
You decide to read it.
