Welcome to the homepage for airsoftaction@onelist.com . A mail list dedicated to airsofters and those who wish to know more about airsofting. I will introduce myself first off (your moderator) then point out the guidelines for posting messages.

My real name is Eric Taylor. I go by the handle of Blink Dog mostly though. For those of you scratching your heads wondering where I got such a silly nick, well here goes. First off I did not invent the nick, for those of you who are familiar with roleplaying games, Blink Dogs are from the game Dungeons and Dragons. They are packs of dogs who can teleport and ambush their enemies. I adopted the nickname for use in chatrooms and on line. I have not been involved in airsoft for very long, about a year, but love it! I discovered airsoft while looking for replica arms on the net. I had played paintball on and off for some years but was never totally satisfied due to the high cost to play. My first airsoft game I played was at Sgt Splatters in Toronto and I used a G3a3, my second game I used an Mp5K at Wasaga Beach Paintball. I hope to get an Airsoft business going soon, Highland Tactical Gaming and Supply. I was going to get it going back in September of last year but the government put a monkey wrench into that plan while they slothfully tried to decide what an airsoft gun is, thankfully they are allowing the import again with the addition of orange muzzle paint.

1. Resepect Others on the list. There is no such thing as a stupid question. Don’t make fun of the others mother etc. Any complaints against another member reguarding this rule should be addressed to me kirin@sprint.ca and I will take appropriate action against the offender personally (in private).

2. Try to minimize posts. If you want to respond to multible posts, try to do it all at once in one Email. It helps when like in my case I get about 50-100 Emails a day. It makes it easier to sort through. This is not really a rule, just more of a guideline.

3. Retailers, manufacturers and other airsoft businesses are allowed to post one business announcement posting a week. This includes sales, price lists and product sale announcements. Airsoft businesses can still respond and post non business related messages as much as they want. All postings can have a link to a business webpage as long as it is not too big. I want retailers ( I am included ) to make make announcements for their businesses but not make the list a sort of spammers paradise for airsoft businesses. Also posting terms like "lowest prices" and "best in the business" will be frowned upon and accusations or slanderous statements about another airsoft business will not be tolerated. Judgement is left to me on such issues. Personal Reviews about products and playing fields etc are usually exempt from this rule.

4. Do not put attachments onto postings.
