The Universal Hint System is a system for giving hints for games one at a time. It is a hypertext format similar to Web browsers such as the one you're using now. The earliest file format, called "88a", is quite simple, and if you're up for a code-cracking challenge, you could try to break the encryption and file format. This should only be undertaken as an intellectual exercise, as the UHS proponents don't want unauthorised hint files giving the format a bad name. Use your powers only for good. ;)
