Single Player Cheats

Unofficial cheats:
To be able to choose what mission you'd like to do next - Start the Rainbow Six executable with "shelljump 88" added to the end (ex: d:\Rainbow Six\rainbowsix.exe shelljump 88) it will unlock all the missions and allow you to play any of them instead of having to beat them one by one.

Official cheats:
Single player cheatcodes are created by the developers of games, to be able to control their game if they want to be able to check something, without the worry of being killed by the enemy in the process. Some are there just for the fun of it. I basically use them for recon, because if you know every inch of the terrain by heart, it makes it a lot easier to survie. Activate the cheatcodes by hitting Enter and typing them into your chatbox. Here are some of the known "Cheatcodes" that I know of;

• silentbutdeadly - Kills everyone around you, including your teammembers.
• fastactionresponseteam - replaces all the equipment jangling sounds to a "fart", but unlike silentbutdeadly it won't kill anyone around you.
• turnpunchkick - Turns all the characters in the game into 2D animation.
• 1-900 - Makes all the characters torso get big everytime they breath.
• clodhopper - Turns the hands and feet of all the characters, big.
• meganoggin - Makes your head humongous.
• bignoggin - Makes your head big.
• 5fingerdiscount - Returns your ammo to full.
• explore - Turns off victory conditions.
• nobrainer - Turns off AI.
• stumpy - Makes all the characters stumpy.
• avatargod - Nothing can kill you.
• teamgod - Nothing can kill you or your team.
• debugkeys - enables debukeys

If you enter debugkeys, you can press F10 to enter debug mode. Then you can use these keys for various purposes;

• A - Artifial Intelligence On/Off
• F - Saves your present coordinates to the sherman.log file.
• M - Freezes you, most likely AI turned off for just YOU not teamates.
• 1 and 3 on keypad - increases or decreases screenresolution.
• - and + on keypad - zoom (limited)
• F6 - Look through the eyes of other people in the mission.
• F7/F8 - Kill yourself
• F9 - Return to the player you were using to complete the mission.
• F10 - Switches from Debug mode to Normal mode
• F12 - Level Skip
• [ and ] - Brighten and darken the screen.
• < and > - Make the player float up or down.
• o - Zoom in from F1 view
• p - Zoom out from F1 view
• V - Rotates View
• B - Brings back to normal view
• / - Brings you down from floating
