A very rare Xorr variant, the Volarr is designed to fill the
role of a Battle ready marine transport. While the Xeon is the
mainstay vessel for this role, it is a dedicated transport often
used only in military ventures. The Volarr on the other hand is
meant to be a more flexible vessel. It retains several of it's
heavy weaponary to provide a powerful ship to ship vessel. The
ventral Cannon has been replaced with an modular hangar design
which can be quickly fitted to the ship. The more long term
comittments in design involve the removal of the Antiproton Guns
for their smaller Defender counterparts. The freeing of space from
the gun itself as well as cooling equipment and matter-antimatter
conversion devices have to lead to additional space for marine
barracks are supplies.
In result the Volarr is a ship which can deal well with enemy ships
in both need for destroying them and capturing them. Due to the large
amount of breaching pods the Volarr is often used in escort duty
roles. The highest precentage of Volarrs is by far used by the merchant
class to capture or kill (at their option) enemy raiders who
seek to steal valuable cargo. Due to the weak frame of the Vree

NOTE:Because the Hangar is located in the turret; it is hittable by the "weapon" hit result on the general hits table. It is not affected by any primary: hangar hits.
