When Narn once again gained it's independance, the Regime began a major rebuilding process of its war fleets. During construction, they decided to test out several different ideas and new weapon systems. Using a G'Quan as a base, they fitted it with the new improved Heavy Lasers and replace the twin arrays with Pulsar Mines, which yield far great fighter defence at the expense of much shorter range. The Narns are hesitant about the effectiveness of the design, and so for the moment it remains RARE.
