During the aftermath of the Earth-Minbari war, the Gaim were involved with trade and ship-exchanges with the Earth Alliance, and therefore had many ships entering and leaving Earth space. During one such trip, a vessel of the Queens happened across a hulk in hyperspace, a death-ship that had suffered a hyperdrive malfunction while fleeing the Minbari months before. By sheer accident, a fully operational but abandoned Nova Dreadnought had wandered into the Gaim ship's path. After a hurried operation to seize the vessel before Earthforce realized that it was their, the Gaim hurried the ship back to the Nest, and outfutted it for duty as a last ditch weapon to defend their homeworld. The delicate arrays on the ship quickly proved too finicky to operate in the abscence of spare parts or technical specifications, as did the interceptors, so the Gaim installed a full complement of particle concentrators on the vessel, despite the massive power drain on the reactors. It is one of the Queens most closely guarded secrets, an ace in the whole they are afraid to play for fear of retribution from their human allies for the theft of the vessel...
