Designed late in the Dilgar War in the desperation to field a mobile fighter platform, the Avioki Carrier was a major trade off for the Krona. The four heavy graviton beams--all of the Avioki's heavy weapons arms--were stripped and replaced with two hangars, one to each side. This variant saw a short amount of service during the final allied push against the Dilgar, and several participated in the final battle at Omelos. After the war, the Brakiri no longer saw the need for such a specialized ship and no new models were converted. (The class existed only from 2231 to 2250, when the last of these vessels were decommissioned and/or retro-fitted into the standard Avioki model.)
