Class & Ability Information


This is the directory of information on different character classes in Azerith.   Alphabetically listed.


Certain Classes have special abilities.

   Special Ability Descriptions:

     Attack Bonus:  This special ability enables the character of this class to have attack bonuses if he/she is using a weapon of the classified type.

     Combination:  This special ability enables the characters of this class to attack and cast a spell both in one turn.
       (Note: If attacking more then one char, you can attack one char and target another char with the spell.)

     Dual-Attacking:  This special ability enables the characters of this class to physically attack twice per turn in battle.
       (Note: If fighting more then one char, you can attack two characters per round or one char with two attacks.)

     Power Strike:  This special ability enables the characters of this class to have a higher chance of landing a critical hit.          (Note:  When rolling to hit, instead of being 10 over for a critical hit, you only need to be 5 over.)

     Perception:  This special ability enables the character of this class to avoid theft or assassination due to their keen abilities to keep an eye on things around them.

     Regeneration:  This special ability enables the character of this class to regenerate the specified amount of health per turn, magically or physically, without aid of potions or spells during battle.
       (Note: The regenerated HP is added at the beginning of your turn.)

     Spell Blast:  This ability enables the characters of this class to cast multiple spells during one turn of combat.  With this ability you can cast multiple spells that levels add up to your own level to a maximum of four spells.  (Example:  A level 2 Wizard can cast two level 1 spells or a level 10 Wizard can cast two level 2 spells and two level 3 spells in one turn.)
       (Note: If fighting more then one char, you can direct which spells target which chars.)


Some Classes evolve into other Classes as the levels of the characters rise with EXPs, some Classes can only be earned.
(Special Note:  Special Starting Classes have no evolved form & are limited in Azerith's population)

   Starting Classes are in Green, Special Starting Classes are in Pink, Evolved Classes are Blue & Earned Classes are Red.

     Apprentice Necromancer (Earned Class: Necromancer)
     Weapon Limit:  Small Sized Weapons
     Armour Limit:  Leather Armour
     Spell Types:  Specialized Necromancy Spells

     Level System to Use:  Magic-User
     HD System to Use:  Thief
     Special Requirements:  Must be a citizen to the Kingdom of D'mere & Good alignment.

     Arch Battle Mage
    
Weapon Limit:  Swords & Small Sized Weapons
     Armour Limit:  Studded Leather Armour
     Spell Types:  Mainly Offensive Spells
     Assassination Attempts:  Class Cannot Use
     Special Abilities: Combination & Regeneration, 2hp per round.

     Arch Mage (Evolutions: Elite Mage)
     Weapon Limit:  Staves & Daggers
     Armour Limit:  Robes
     Spell Types:  Mainly Offensive Spells
     Assassination Attempts:  Class Cannot Use
     Special Abilities:  Combination & Attack Bonus, -2 to THAC0 if using a staff type weapon.

Class Limitations:  Can only wear simple robes and use dagger class weapons and staves.  Has strong healing spells.
