Gran Turismo 2000 Preview
Gran Turismo 2000 is the game that will change racers forever. Sure, you could make the argument that Sega GT
or Metropolis Street Racer may be as graphically impressive but I have a strong feeling that Gran Turismo 2000 will be the most realistic. Gran Turismo
2 was a dissapointment in my mind, maybe it was that my expectations were to high but to say that there was a few bugs would be an understatement. "Hmmm, where the heck are the best lap time and best course records"
I thought to myself as I played Gran Turismo 2.
Well, it seems that it was rushed so much that they didn't even bother to program them in (or take them off the screen for that matter). But Poliphony Digital
has the oportunity to correct its Gran Turismo short comings Gran Turismo 2000. The realistic car models was always very impressive but imagine it with the ultra awesome graphics displayed in these screen grabs (above). Other sites and game mags (that have the oportunities that some other sites like ahhemm.. me
don't have) are saying that the control is very good,
sound is supurb, and there will still be hundreds of cars to choose from, although probably not as many as
Gran Turismo 2.
