To more effectively make the Dungeon Masters function for the betterment of Tyran, they would be broken down into departments:
Each department would have a head ranking offical who would be in charge of testing people who wish to join that department, and basically seeing to it that their department is following the rules and getting things done.
Each of the 3 head ranking officals, would come together to form your trinity of leaders over the DMs as a whole.
Each department would choose a day, seperate from one another, in which they would talk about their area of the rules. Tese meetings would be bi-weekly, with one being held the first and third week of every month.
Any ideas the departments came up with for their section of the rules, would be brought before SHC for a gathered discussion and vote.
2. Do we establish the suggest resurrection rule?
The only people who would be able to resurrect would be the God of Death, Goddess of Life, and the Head Priest(s) of their churches.
The God of Death and Goddess of Life can resurrect 2 people every month. The head priest(s) of their churches can resurrect one person per month. The proper confirms must be obtained and posted for it to be legal. Also, this would not apply to anyone who died before the rule was passed (common sense. Rules of today don't effect the happenings of yesterday).
If the HPs of the churches, happen to belong to a clan, they can't resurrect anyone of their clan.
Before someone can be resurrected, they must of been dead at least two weeks. During those two weeks, the deceased can role play as a ghost for storyline and role play purposes. They could not where a clan crest, nor could they gain rank in the game or have any affect on the physical world around them.
Upon being resurrected, the deceased must pledge loyalty to the one who brought them back. So if God of Death or one of his HPs resurrected someone, that person would be loyal to the God of Death, and his church. The killer could also bargain to not have the person resurrected.
You can only be resurrected five times. After being resurrected for a fifth time, if you die again then you're dead for good.
3. Do we establish this rule?
Guilds for each profession would open. Each Guild would focus on their specific area and no other (Knights Guild, Magic Guild, etc). The following rules would come with these guilds:
Now of course, you can play the God of War into the Knights Guild, the God of Magic into the Magic Guild. The God of Death would be played into the Necromancy section of the Magic Guild. That way, you have the Gods yet again being played into more role play.
The professions we would start off with would be Knight, Mages, Clergy, and Healers (Many consider Healers and Clergy different ranks so thats why you have both of them. It works out good either way). So we'd start off with a Guild for each of those professions. After we get those done, we could get creative and add more like an Artists Guild (Which is already in the works), a Blacksmith Guild, etc.
To get started, each Guild would make a post asking everyone in Tyran who is of that certain profession, to reply back and let them know (there would be a deadline for this). Everyone who replied back, would automatically start off in the guild, already knowing that specific profession. In this fashion, you don't take away the hard work that some characters actually did go through to learn their profession. After the deadline, anyone who wished to be of that certain rank, would have to join the guild of their choice, and learn how to perform the duities of that profession. Each guild would have a webpage built which would be found on the Tyran webpage. This webpage would include a list of everyone who is in that profession. This will get the guilds started. Anyone can join any guild they wish.
4. Do we establish this rule?
The SHC would become a discussion, vote, and overseer' of the rules kind of Council. Topics would be made up by those dealing that certain area. That would go as follows:
Important NOTE: Why do you break it down like this you ask? Because common sense tell syou that the people who should be making legislation are the people who deal with it ona day-to-day basis.
Topics are then passed onto the SHC. SHC would hold a discussion to talk about topics brought up before them. The reps would then go back to those they represent and explain the topics in detail so they understood.
The SHC head would then post the topics in a SHC post for everyone to see (This post would be found on the SHC link of the Tyran webpage). The reps would reply to the post with the final decision of their people. Those who would get a seat on SHC would include:
After a given amount of time (say 2 days), the vote is gathered. The majority wins. After a rep has posted the results of their people, their vote can't be changed, so make sure you get the correct vote, the first time.
The SHC would have a Head figure, or mediator. This person would be in charge of seeing that the SHC runs fluidly. This person should have no history of breaking rules or being bannished from the game. A completely clean and honest figure is what he/she would be. This person would be someone on SHC, who is in tune with how things work.
5. Do we establish this rule?
Raise the limit on Recognized Clans from 15 to 20. There are some really deserving clans out there, like FF, nS, and NightHawk, among others who are role playing and truely deserve clanship. This would give them that chance.
In close, the rules stated above all flow together into one nice neat package that, for the most part, would ensure a better and more promising future in Tyran from both a game perspective and role play perspective. Power is Divided EQUALLY with no one having to much power.
Also, to further show our willingness to aid Tyran in a productive path, a list of other ideas that should be seriously considered have been put together. They are listed below:
When our turn comes again, we shall gladly once again, aid you with some good ideas. Not all of our ideas were played into this because we are obviously limited to 5 topics only. However these topics we have are damn good ones which shows HG's willingness to help Tyran in anyway possible.
Sincerely Yours,
The Familia Grim (HG)
