Holding a rank in the House of Grim requires that you be online frequently enough to do the rank justice. If you arent online, dont expect to gain the rank you seek.

To try and obtain rank, you must go before the head of the rank you seek and request his/her blessings in joining rank. If the head of the rank you seek agrees to have you join their ranks, a special ceremony is to be held, where you will be blessed into rank (NOTE: If you are seeking the head of a rank you must E-Mail the High Council with your request. If the High Council votes "Yes" in your favor, your request is presented to the Emperor and Empress of HG. They make the final decision.

Rank MUST be EARNED and not given out. Respect MUST be show toward the ranks. This means that ranks are NOT passed around, they are EARNED.

After recieving rank, you MUST continue to role play the demands of the rank. This means that Knights must role play as Knights, Mages must role play as Mages, and so on.

One character CANNOT hold more than one Head Rank in the family. However, a character can hold any number of regular ranks.

There can only be two heads per rank. This is to limit clash of egos and encourage the earning of ranks However, the two heads of rank must be of different sexes. Meaning one male head ranking officer, and one female head ranking officer per rank.

You should at ALL times proudly bare the crest of your specific rank. If, for some reason, you must step down from rank, present your rank crest to the head of your rank and step down honorably. If a head of rank must step down, the head ranking crest should be presented to the Emperor and Empress.

Failure to meet the requirements listed above will result in punishment passed down by the Emperor and Empress depending on how severe the situation is.
