Knights are the backbone of the Final Fantasy Tactics jobs. They have the highest HP out of any job, they have the strongest attack, and the can equip the best armor. The only drawback to the knight is that they can only attack an adjacent panal. Their "Battle Skill" can be deadly if you equip it with a chemist who uses a gun or an archer. A knight is the best job available at the early stages of the game. It is good to have at least one knight in your party at all times.
