These armors (based on the armor of the same name from GURPS Bio-tech) are made up of silk. They act as current bullet proof vests.

Snail shell shield

This armor is made from a super strong ceramic that is based on snail shell. The scented armor has small crevasses that are used to hold repellents (or attractants) that do not stick to normal armor.

Rhino horn shield

This armor has the ability to heal itself like rhino horn. To be repaired, a set must be bound in a certain manner (which differs with the damage) and let soak in a keratin bath overnight.

Snail arrows/quarrels: Treat these as normal arrows/quarrels (just +2 to damage and 10 times the cost)

All of these weapons are based on the ceramic that makes up snail shell armor. The sword does not lose its edge (it just shatters after taking 15m) and will sever a blood vessel 25% of the time. Battle claws are bound on the forearm as to allow the claws to extend beyond the hand. The arrows and quarrels can go right through any substance except duralloy.

More Shaper stuff:
Power plants are actual plants (mostly trees, but some shrubs and herbs as well) that produce something of use other than shade and wood. Some produce heat; in 100% sunlight a power plant will give off 120F, with a reduction according to the amount of sunlight. Some produce electricity; a power tree 12 meters tall produces enough juice to run a modern house. And the rest produce chemicals. Most are just precursors that must be run through several vats before the product is finished. The Odum and Biomimicry write ups have many such chemicals and GURPS Ultratech and UT2 also have drugs that might be produced by Shapers. Antidecay spray is a material that keeps microbes from decomposing the protected object. It has a set time limit, usually 1, 5 or 25 years, before the spray stops working and the object then becomes compost. Derek
