These are the true and mysterious stories of Chester Lyster. Through the acts and marvels of modern science, doctors are trying to save his life. He wishes to stay alive so that he can be with his friends, family, loved ones, but most importantly his favorite friend of all, his squirrel, Mike. Chester takes Mike everywhere, including to his medical treatments. Chester has a medical condition. Most people would catagorize it as being inoperable, but the doctors believe they can help.
(Enter Doctor)
Doctor: Mr. Lyster, we have some good news. We think we can help.
Chester: Really?! I was hoping you would say that.
Doctor: We plan on giving you a special Chemo-radiation treatment. In essence we believe this will kill all of the cancerous cells.
Chester: So you really don't know if this will help or not?
Doctor: Not really, no. But with your permission we would like to do everything we can.
Chester: Let me think about this for tonight, and I will let you know tomorrow morning.
Chester: I understand. Well, that is all for now, I guess I will be seeing you in the morning Mr. Lyster.
Chester: Till then Doc.
(Exit Doctor)
Mike: Meep!
Chester: Yeah, I think I will more than likely go through with it too. I know he says he isn't sure about the treatment, but if he brought it up it must be a good sign.
Mike: Meep!
Chester: Alright, it is settled then. But only if you will come with me Mike!
Mike: Meep!
Chester: Great. See you in the morning then.
(Lights go out)
(Lights rise dimly)
(Show Mike on Chesters bed)
(voice over speaker as spotlight on Mike)
Mike: Chester will be fine. I will grant him the ancient power of the squirrel. He will never know that it was I Mihael the King of the Brown Squirrels who saved his life and not the human doctors.
(Lower lights)
(Raise lights)
Chester: Wake up Mike. You sleep too long and we will miss our appointment.
Mike: Meep!
Chester: Don't worry Mike. There isn't anything to be nervous about. The doctor said he had hope.
Mike: Meep!
