Who is the man in the suit who arrives at the farmhouse near the end of the movie?
First off, his name is Rothman. There are many different theories of who he is, but he seems to be a former CIA agent, and is now a "cannibal employer" if you will who is the leader of a cult that works fear into people. Notice in his conversation with Vilmer he tells him that he wants them to show people the 'true' meaning of horror. You can see that he is disappointed at the way Vilmer and his family terrorize people. Although there are many different theories of who he is, this is the most frequently used explanation.
Who is flying the plane that kills Vilmer at the end of movie?
This again is another TCM 4 mystery. It is said that the person flying the plane works for Rothman and was sent to kill Vilmer because Rothman didn't approve of Vilmer's ways of terror.
I heard that Renee Zellweger and Matthew McConaughey wanted to stop the theatrical release of this movie. Is this true, and why?
From what I've heard, it is not true. There are many rumors that they did want to stop the release, but those all could be just that. Rumors. Besides, Renee Zellweger commentend on how much fun making the movie was, and the same remark came from Matthew McConaughey. Also in the movie White Oleander [2002] , Renee Zellweger plays a foster mother who was a former actress and she shows one of her foster children the movie she was in, and the movie is TCM 4. So if she really was ashamed of TCM 4, I doubt she'd be having it featured in one of her other movies.

Did the Texas Chainsaw Massacre really happen?
NO! This is the most frequently asked question of them all. There are people who actually believe this happened, but it didn't. The TCM movies were based on Ed Gein, a man who murdered two women in Wisconsin in the 1950's. The relation between TCM and Ed Gein is that Ed Gein wore human skin and he was a cannibal, much like the Leatherface character. He was also the basis of Norman Bates (Psycho) and Buffalo Bill (Silence of the Lambs). Go here for more Ed Gein information.
Why did you bother to make a site about this movie? It's the shittiest movie ever made.
Because I liked the movie and I wanted to. It's all just a matter of taste I guess. Some people like this movie, some people hate it. I mean, come on, this was a pretty fun horror movie. Don't get me wrong, it's not on award winning terms or anything, it's campy horror mixed in with some humor and if you look at it that way it's a fun ride. Personally, I love this movie. That's my opinion.
