“Tell me about Lucifer”

BY BRANDON MULLINO

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground which didst weaken the nations!
(Isaiah 14:12)

Lucifer<1966 helel-“shining one, this refers to an object in the night sky, often translated “morning star”. The Latin for “Lucifer” also means “shining one”.

“Tell me about Lucifer” is about Lucifer the Cherub Angel that rebelled against God. He had a very high office, which was the highest office in heaven. It was called the “Office of the Cherub”. This paper also teaches you several things that you never knew about Lucifer such as him being beautiful and wise. A lot of modern day teachings about Lucifer are utterly false and have no biblical scripture to back it up such as a man with horns and a pitchfork. Some people are wondering why do you study things about the devil. Well the apostle Paul said know your enemy and know him well!!! He also said study him out so you cannot be caught unaware. Paul please tell them:

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the WILES OF THE DEVIL.

(Ephesians 6:11)

For we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, against SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES.

(Ephesians 6:12)

So you see it is quite evident that we study our enemy because he is the reason why we need salvation in the first place. Let’s go to the garden.

Now the serpent was more subtil (wise) than any beast of the field which, the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea hath God said you shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

(Genesis 3:1)

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

(Genesis 3:2-3)

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not SURELYdie; For God doth not know in that day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

(Genesis 3:5-6)

Now did anybody notice Lucifer’s conversation. He deceived her by using Psychology.

He asks Eve an innocent question: “Yea shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Now Eve’s attention is on the tree of good and evil by Lucifer’s easy question.
Eve then replies: “We would die if we eat of this tree”
Then Lucifer contradicts her statement: “Ye shall not surely die”
Now he gives reason for contradiction: “Be as gods knowing good and evil”

So does everybody see what Lucifer did he played with her on words. We know the rest of the story she ate of the tree. Let’s go to the book of Job

And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, there is none like him in the earth, a perfect upright man, one that feareth God, escheweth (hates) evil? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth (Does) Job fear God for nought (nothing) Hast not thou made a hedge about him and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee (you) to thy face.

(Job 1:8-11)
Hmmm this is a very interesting conversation between Satan and God. They are debating about Job giving honor to God. Satan challenges God to let him take away every thing he has. Let’s see God’s shocking answer!!

And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold all that he hath is in thy (your) power: only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

(Job 1:12)

Oh my goodness God said yes!! If you go on and read the next verses Job lost a lot of animals, food and even HIS OWN CHILDREN. We would all ask why would God let certain things like this happens. Well if you notice in the conversation with Satan, God tries to prove to Satan that Job is the most upright person on earth. What better way to make your point is to test Job’s actions by letting him lose his children. So that is the reason why we lose loved ones, to be tested. God knew Job would still praise him after what had happened to his kids. So lets see what Satan does after he was proven wrong!!!

And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God and escheweth (hates) evil? And still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou (you) movedst me against him, to destroy him without any cause. And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea all that a man hath will he give for his life. Put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh and he will curse thee (you) to thy face. And the Lord said Satan, Behold he is in thine (your)hand; but save his life.

(Job 2:3-6)

Man this joker never quits he still debates with God. And God let him do what he wanted to do. If you read on Job was sick and his wife told him to curse God but he would not do it. He still gave praise to God!!! If you would notice in Job 1:6 and Job 2:2 the verses say Satan travels back and forth to earth. Why would Satan say the same statement in those 2 verses, this is to prove that he observes mankind daily. He is an accuser. He accuses mankind to God about the way we worship God and act. The same conversation with Job is still being made except they are talking about you or I this very day.

Notice this verse:

Therefore rejoice ye heavens and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitors of the earth and of the sea for the devil has come down unto you, having great wrath because HE KNOWETH THAT HE HATH BUT A SHORT TIME. (Revelation 12:12)

Now this has not happened yet but is soon to happen, this also proves Lucifer has access back to heaven just like in the book of Job. He possesed Heaven’s access when Adam and Eve disobeyed God. But did you catch the eye clicker, the last part of that verse says: “he knoweth he has a short time” How does he know he has a short time, believe it or not he knows his scripture as well. A whole lot better than you and I. Listen how he talks to Jesus:

And when the tempter (Satan) came to him he said, If thou be the son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he (Jesus) answered and said It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeddeth out of the mouth of God.

(Matthew 4:3-4)

Then the Devil taketh him up into the holy city and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him If thou be the son of God, cast thyself down: for IT IS WRITTEN, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee:and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

(Matthew 4:5-7)

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceedingly high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee behind me Satan for it is written, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

(Matthew 4:8-10)

Alrighty then we have a good conversation here. Jesus Christ quotes scripture from Dueuteronomy 6:3, for his defense and then Lucifer quotes scripture from Psalms 91:11-13 and then Jesus quotes scripture again. So we see Lucifer knows his Bible quite well!! But Christ won the conversation by going to the WORD OF GOD!! There were three temptations in the exact order: the lust of the flesh (temptation of the bread), the lust of the eyes(jumping from the pinnacle), the pride of life(being offered the world). Now it just so happens John echoes Satan’s exact temptation in order:

For all that is in the world, THE LUST OF THE FLESH, and THE LUST OF THE EYES, and THE PRIDE OF LIFE, is not of the Father but of the WORLD. (1 John 2:16)

So Christ is the perfect Lamb. In summary this is how he won over Satan. By refusing to turn the stones to bread Christ conquered the lust for physical pleasure. By rejecting Satan’s dare to jump from the top of the Temple, he conquered the lust of everything one sees. By turning down Satan’s offer of the kingdoms of the world, he conquered pride of life. So where Satan was successful in the garden with Adam and Eve, he was unsuccessful in the wilderness.

Now I have had a lot children ask me how Lucifer really looks: I think Ezekiel can answer that for me:

Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every preciuos stone was thy covering , the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: workmanship of thy tabrets was prepared in thee in the day thou wast created.

(Ezekiel 28:13)

Man so we see here that he was covered with gems or stones and that he was a musical instrument that played music, in fact he was rumored to be the choir leader in heaven. His music is far better than the music we hear to day Notice the verse says “thy tabrets” which is implying a music instrument. He was truly his own orchestra. But let’s break down these stones bit by bit to get the meanings of them and then we will find the true appearance of Lucifer!

Sardius:124 odem-redness, the ruby garnet; another red gem

Topaz:6357 pitdah-a gem; chrysolite (stone)

Diamond:3095 yahalom-(sense of hardness);a precious stone

Beryl:8658 tarshiysh-a gem

Onyx:7718 shoham-a gem

jasper:3471 yashpheh-to polish(as if polished);a gem

sapphire:5601 cappiyr-a gem(scratching other substances)

emerald:5306 nophek-to glisten; shining; a gem

carbuncle:1304 barquath- a gem(as flashing)

gold:2091 zahab-to shimmer; (yellow) as oil, a clear sky

So we see here Lucifer was created a wise and handsome creature that was so beautiful we as humans could not even imagine his beauty. He served on the left side of God’s throne in the heavenly courts of heaven. So that is why Solomon says this statement:

A wise man’s heart is at his right hand; but a fool’s heart is at his LEFT.

(Ecclesiastes 10:2)

You see Jesus served God on the right hand of the throne that is why Solomon makes that statement. So in conclusion Lucifer was situated upon the mountain of God, which he can still do by Adam and Eve’s rebellion. He was no mere robot he had his own free will to do what ever he wanted. So he chose to rebel against God and have his own agenda. The cause of this was prIde and sIn. Notice the large I in the middle of both words. Don’t you see it was the “me, myself, and I” It was all about him. Just like today we as humans have to get rid of our pride and arrogance. Stay tuned I will have more information coming soon!! May God bless you and keep searching for Christ.
