Hello!  My name is Star and I am a CKC registered Chihuahua.  I am a white female with reddish brown ears.  This page tells a little about me.

MY LIFE

I was born on April 24, 2002.  I live in Marietta, Georgia.  I love to go outside and play but don't get to as much as I would like.  When I do go out, mommy keeps me on a leash.  I love to sleep in the bed with mommy and daddy, but sometimes I like to take my personal time and nap in my carrier which is also my bed.  My mommy spoils me by buying me everthing I want.  I have my own room and a hinged gate for easy access.  Now that Onyx has joined our family I will have to share this space with him.  I don't really like the gate, but mommy and daddy sometimes like privacy too, so they shut it.  Onyx and I have a toy box with several toys to choose from.  Right now, my favorite toy is a squeaky purple and cream spotted ball.  I have learned that when mommy says "toy," I should go get a toy for playtime.  I am healthy because mommy and daddy take good care of me and give me good food - Eukanuba.  They also take me to a great vet close to my home.

WHAT I ENJOY

There are lots of things that I enjoy.  First of all, I like to play and chew.  I can go for hours if I am in the mood.  I like to chew on hair and play with you, but sometimes I may get a little too rough (or at least that is what mommy says).  I go for rides in the car and I just have to meet new people.  I just don't think there is any human alive who wouldn't love me.  I crave attention from everyone I meet.  My newest playmate is Onyx.  I really love him and enjoy nibbling his ears.  I am glad mommy and daddy decided to find me a playmate.

WHAT I DISLIKE

A few months back mommy bought me a tag and she made me wear my collar more.  I am big enough for it but it itches sometimes.  At first I didn't really like to wear it but I am fairly accustomed to it now.  It is a pretty collar that is red and blue with stars and paws on it.  It matches me because my name is Star and I have tiny paws.  I don't like it when I am not the center of attention and when mommy and daddy are trying to eat.  That pretty much covers what I don't like.  I am fairly content with my laid back lifestyle.

MY ADVENTURES

I am still young so I have a lot of life ahead of me but I have been in some adventures.  On September 28, 2002 I participated in the Pet Parade sponsored by the Atlanta Humane Society.  Mommy helped me raise over $100 to help other pets in need.  I want to thank all of you who supported me in this adventure.  Mommy and daddy were needing help in teaching me some things so mommy enrolled me in basic obedience training class.  It has been an adventure!  I will be graduating next week, April 23, 2003 and as soon as mommy gets the scanner working again she will post my certificate.

MY TOYS

I have many toys that I will now be sharing with Onyx.  As I mentioned above my favorite is my squeaky ball.  I have a dog I like to call "Squeaky."  I also have an "AirDog" bone to chew on.  I have a Tigger that I have had since I was just a baby that I like to attack.  I have some balls that are just my size.  I have a small kong which is really good for chewing on and bouncing in different directions.  I have my "Nylabone" which was my first chew toy.  It is more like a pacifier than a toy but it is nice to have around when we are on a long trip.  I love ropes or stringy things.  So, I have a rope bone that mommy bought so I would stop chewing on her hair.  However, I still like her hair more.  You must be wondering where I keep all of these toys.  Well, I have a blue toy box shaped like a bone.  Feel free to get me a new toy or you can just donate to a good doggie organization.  It would probably be better to donate to a doggie organization because my toy box is overflowing.
