But most important of all is that you enjoy the show! The Screen comes up on a promo for the main event on tonight's show. Promo: The screen fades out into the Rocks face then fades to black and back again to Chris Benoit's face. In the background Thorn in Your Eye plays. Then the shot changes to the Rock and clips of his matches that he fought in to get all the way to this final with a voice over of the Rock. Rock: When I walk out into that arena the electricity is overwhelming and that is why I want to become the first Undisputed titleholder. No matter what happens I will go out on that night and give my all 110% and then I will become the best! The shot changes to Benoit and clips of his match also with Benoit doing a voice over. Benoit: People have said that I got the easy route through to the final but I disagree and hopefully I will silence all of my critics when I win the belt tonight. All be it the Rock is the favourite but as in most cases the underdogs always have a bit more bite. The screen then changes to a shot of the Undisputed title belt and then Rock is put on the right hand side of the belt and Benoit to the left. Both move and then freeze followed by a voice over by both of them together at the same time. Both Rock and Benoit: I will be the new champion! The camera switches to the arena, which is dark. The screen comes up that Ressurection is sponsored by Foot Locker, then bang! Blasts of silver and gold fireworks and pyro shoot around the capacity crowd at Madison Square Gardens go wild as Halo by Soil plays all around the arena from the Stomp-o-tron speakers. JR: Hello folks and welcome to the packed Madison Square Gardens for Ressurection the first ever Pay Per View from Stomping Ground and King tonight we will defiantly have a new undisputed title owner as The Rock and Chris Benoit lock horns in tonight's main event for the biggest prize in the game today! King: Indeed JR and now that all of the talking is over and done with we will get to see a new champion crowned tonight live at Ressurection. And admittedly it really is good to be back at a major event like this and look it is not only us who is excited JR we have some stars in the crowd tonight look there's New York Yankee star player Derek Jeter! The camera changes to Jeter sitting in the front row seat of the arena and his face was shown on the stomp-o-tron and the crowd cheered and he stood up took a bow and sat back down. JR: As you can see a star filled evening and to get us started there will be a gravy bowl match for the women's title No 1 contender spot and you can bet this will get messy. King: Yes and we may be able to see puppies unlike at Slam which was OK but spoilt by the lack of puppies! JR: Well King this is a whole different scenario match where the rules are plain and simple the first girl to pin an opponent inside the gravy bowl wins and it will be a packed gravy bowl tonight as five yes FIVE women will be in it at the same time. King: Are you sure we have a big enough gravy bowl? JR: I do believe we have if we could just have a shot of it. The stomp-o-tron shows a big inflatable pool filled to the brim with gravy. King: Look at that JR it is disgusting! JR: Indeed King I sure wouldn't like to be in that. King: Well the match will be underway soon as the contestants turn up. JR: Remember it is an elimination match once you are pinned your out of there. And King I think we may have our first contender. Look it is Stephanie. Stephanie is dipping her toe in the bowl and pulls it out and shakes it. She turns to the ref and complains. But from behind Francine runs and hits a bulldog straight into the gravy, which splashes all over the floor and referee who is soaked in gravy. Stephanie is out after that devastating bulldog from Francine who rolls her over and goes for the pin. The Referee counts 1...2...3 and Stephanie is eliminated immediately. JR: Well Francine is off to a good start and look. The camera switches from JR to the gravy. Terri runs in from the side but Francine thinks quickly and grabs Terri and brings her into the gravy with a lot of impact. The gravy was now all over the camera as the camera man was wiping it off Francine made for the cover and got the 1 2 3 on Terri. King: My word JR she is taking out anything that moves and look at the mess. Ha ha. The next competitor runs in and it is Stacy Kiebler. She gets straight into the pool of gravy and slaps Francine across the face. She then goes to slap her again but Francine blocks and pushes her over into the gravy and then goes down to choke her and drown her in the gravy. The ref gets in the gravy and has to stop Francine by breaking the choke hold. Francine gets up and grabs Stacy and then attempts to rip off her underwear but Stacy manages to stop her. However Francine then concentrates her focus on the bra and rips it off to the fans delight. King: Oh my, oh my PUPPIES JR PUPPIES! Francine then school boys Stacy and the ref counts 1 2 3 and Stacy runs off back to her lockeroom to get dressed. King: Did you see those Puppies! This day is turning out a hell of a lot better than I had expected! JR: King you speak for all of these fans here tonight. Trish runs in and clotheslines Francine and she hits the floor with a loud splash. Trish then covers the referee counts 1...2 but Francine kicks out. Francine is now absolutely covered in gravy as is Trish. JR: I sure as hell would not like to clean that mess up! Francine grabs Trish by the hair and drags her about in the gravy. Francine then picks up Trish who doesn't know where she is because her eyes are covered in gravy. Francine kicks Trish in the mid section and then hits with DDT straight into the gravy and then covers. The referee counts 1...2...3. and the match is over Francine is the number one contender for the women's title. JR: Quiet an impressive victory for Trish Stratus, wouldn't you agree King? King: I still can not get over it I finally saw the first puppies of the new era! JR: You need help king. Anyway on to the next match up it will be a triple threat match as Kurt Angle will face Chris Jericho and The Big Show tonight! King: Yes this match promises to be quite an event. The stomp-o-tron plays out medal and out walks Kurt Angle to chants of YOU SUCK! King: How can these people treat their very own Olympic hero like this? Then the Stomp-o-tron plays out Big Shows music and he makes his way down the steel ramp and he climbs over the top rope and into the ring where he is met by a clothesline from Kurt Angle. JR: The match has already started and yet Jericho has not came out! The lights go off and Angle along with Big Show are still fighting inside the ring. Smoke begins to fill the top of the ramp and the camera goes in on the video being played on the stomp-o-tron. Then pyro went off and shot around the arena as the fans cheered and Chris Jericho spun around and faced the crowd. Jericho noticed the battle in the ring and ran down to be involved. Jericho climbed on the apron but was knocked down when Angle was whipped into him and Jericho fell off the apron and straight on to the barrier on the outside of the ring. Big Show grabbed hold of Kurt and lifted him above his head and then threw Angle to the outside on to Chris Jericho who was still on the barrier. The ref began to count out both Angle and Jericho. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8. Angle got back to his feet and slid into the ring, which was met by big stomps to the head from the big show. JR: Man Show is looking to be on top form today. King: Unlike Jericho I mean look at him he is out cold. The ref kept on with the ten count. 9 10. King: Oh my Jericho is out and he hasn't even been in the ring! Show and Angle continued their fight in the ring. Angle whipped Show into the corner. Angle then thrust his shoulders into the mid section of Show who was weakened with each blow. Angle then pulled Show out of the corner and went for a belly to belly suplex. JR: There ain't any way in hell that he can do this. Show stopped angle and countered with his belly to belly suplex. On the outside Jericho got up and slid into the ring. King: Do you think he knows he is out of the match? Jericho sees Angle down and runs jumps off the ropes and hits a devastating lionsault. Show takes Jericho off Kurt and throws him over the top rope and then covers Angle. the ref counts 1 2 3. The bell rings and Shows music plays as the crowd cheer and the ref lifts up Shows hand in victory. JR: Show made it look so easy king and you can tell that he was only using 25% of effort there. King I 'd hate to see him at full 100%. Show walks back up the ramp to cheers from the New York fans. ~~~~~~~~~~~Commercials~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ JR: Well King this brings us to our next match which will be for the tag team titles. And the innovators of violence, RVD and Tommy Dreamer are currently holding them, and they will have to face another two teams tonight. The stomp-o-Tron plays out corporation and the fans give out a mixed reception as Vince McMahon walks out to the top of the ramp with a microphone. JR: Well King what's going on here? It is supposed to be a tag match! Vince: Cut the music! I SAID CUT THE DAMN MUSIC!!! The music stops. Vince: Now I am sorry to be the one to come out here and do this but it has to be done. Today there will not be a tag title match as both D-X and Sting and Raven have been fired from Stomping Ground, because of a total lack of commitment to their work. So there will be no tag match as we move on to the next match the number one contendership for the intercontinental title. Hope you all enjoy it and have a great evening. Scott Steiner's music plays and he walks out to a barrage of boos and hisses from the capacity crowd. King: These fan sure hate Steiner. The music changes and out walks the hardcore champion HBK Shawn Michaels. The fans go wild for this legend as he gets into the ring and poses for the crowds with the pyro going off in the background. JR: Can you hear that the fans are on their feet for the heart break kid. The bell rings and the match is underway. Michaels goes for the switch wristlock and Steiner counters with an arm drag. Again Michaels goes for the same but this time Steiner counters with a hard scoop slam to the canvas. Whilst HBK is down Scott shows off his muscles to the un-adoring crowd who cheer when HBK gets to his feet and begins to hit Steiner. HBK then whips Steiner into the corner and follows through with a clothesline. HBK does the same for the following corner then Steiner goes to ground dazed. HBK sees the opportunity and calls for sweet chin music. Steiner gets up but ducks and goes for the Steiner recliner but Michaels counters by pushing him off the rope and as Steiner came back HBK hit him with sweet chin music. JR: It looks as if Michaels has ended this match pretty quickly. King: Yeah but did you hear the echo of that superkick from Michaels. JR: Indeed I did king. HBK goes for the pin and the referee counts 1..2..3 and the bell rings to symbolise the end of the match. HBK's music hits and the crowd go wild as Michaels has made short work of his match against the big papa pump Scott Steiner. JR: Now we have a number one contender for the intercontinental title belt which is currently held by Edge but for how long? Voodoo Child by Jimmy Hendrix blasts over the PA system. Hogan walks out. He walks to the ring without doing his trademark poses. He slides in the ring and gets a mic from the ring announcer. Hogan: Well, all my Hulkimaniacs. I have news for you; you're looking at your new European Champion. That's right, I have been informed that Booker T had to forfeit this match at the last minute due to family problems. Now hand me my title and hit my music! Scum of the Earth by Rob Zombie hits and Jeff Hardy comes onto the stage. He has his Cruiserweight Championship belt around his waist. He poses on the stage of the arena as his new pyro's explode. He runs down to the ring, as the fans are surprisingly quiet. JR: What's he doing out here? King: I don't know JR. Jeff slides in the ring and grabs the mic from Hogan's hand. Jeff: Congrats, that's the easiest title in I've ever seen. But Hogan, I have a suggestion, well a Challenge! Me vs. you, European Title, Two weeks from now, on Slam. What do you say, Brother! Hogan grabs the mic back. Hogan: You've got it, brother! JR: Oh my god, European Title, and 2 weeks from tonight! Hogan walks to the back as Jeff's theme hits and SG cuts to commercials. ~~~~~~~~~Commercial Break~~~~~~~~~ King: Now on to the women's title match which will be between Ivory and Torrie and JR lets take a look back to the time when Torrie won the #1 one contenders shot along with Ivory. The screen switches to a promo of the women's title tournament and then comes back in. JR: Well these two women have come a very long way to this title match tonight and we will crown a brand new women's champion tonight at Ressurection. Howard Finkle: Before tonight's match up I would like to announce that we have set a new attendance record for Madison Square Gardens at 150045 people thank you all. And our next match will be for one fall and is for the stomping ground women's title introducing first Ivory. The stomp-o-tron speakers blast out Ivory's music and the fans boo her as she walks down and into the ring. Then the music quickly switched to Torrie's music and the fans went wild as he walked down to the ring posing on the way. The bell rung and the match was underway. Ivory quickly grabbed Torrie and threw her into the corner and began to slap her. Torrie was now down and she had to be picked back up by Ivory who whipped her over the top rope. Ivory went to the outside and Torrie was back up. Torrie ran at Ivory but Ivory moved and put a drop toe hold on Torrie who then went to ground and hit her head off the steel steps. Torrie was now out cold and Ivory rolled her back into the ring. Ivory made the cover and the ref counted 1...2... but Torrie kicked out. Ivory went for another cover the ref counted again 1...2... but yet again Torrie kicked out. Ivory was frustrated she picked Torrie up and delivered a swinging neckbreaker. Torrie was grounded again. But Ivory did not cover but she went up top. Ivory dove off the top rope backwards and landed a moonsault. JR: Oh my this surely must be over now King. Ivory went for the cover and got it. Th ref counted again 1...2...3 and the bell rang. Ivory's music played and she was given a mixed reaction by the fans. The ref gave her shiny new women's title belt and Ivory jumped up and down with delight. Howard Finkle: You winner and new women's champion Ivory! Ivory went back up the steel ramp excited that she was the new champion. JR: Well King you cannot say she didn't deserve that belt. King: Yes JR and there will also be a new champion crowned tonight and we will see more as we are just hours away. Rey Mysterio's theme hits and the fans erupt in cheers and chants of 619. Pyro's explode as Rey shoots through the floor of the stage. Jeff walks out with hit Cruiserweight title. JR: How impressive. King: Yea, for a 12-year-old. Rey runs to the ring followed by Jeff. He slides in, followed by Jeff, and shakes Jeff's hand. They stand side by side and wait for their opponents. Glass Shatters by Disturbed hits as Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out onto the stage; the fans are going wild. JR: Here comes the toughest SOB in SG. King: Shut up JR. Austin walks to the ring as the fans are going wild. He climbs the steps and into the ring. He climbs each turnbuckle consecutively, flipping the fans off as he does. He stands in the ring eyeballing Rey and Jeff as Rhyno's theme hits. He walks onto the stage as the fans boo wildly. He walks to the ring and slides in. He and Jeff immediately start attacking one another as the ref, Nick Patrick, calls for the bell. JR: We're underway here. Jeff gets the advantage over Rhyno almost immediately. He beats Rhyno down. Rhyno is reeling as Jeff stomps on his chest in the corner. Jeff picks Rhyno up and whips him into the opposite corner. Jeff runs at Rhyno but Rhyno moves out of the way causing Jeff to smash his shoulder off the steel ring post. Rhyno begins beating down on Jeff. He knocks Jeff down. Rhyno climbs to the top rope. He jumps off and narrowly misses a diving elbow. Jeff and Rhyno are down. Nick starts his ten count. 1...2...3...4...5 Jeff and Rhyno are starting to stand...6...7...Jeff and Rhyno are up. Jeff turns and Rhyno hits a hellacious Gore! King: GORE, GORE, GORE, JR! JR: It's gotta be over. Rhyno covers Jeff 1...2... Rey breaks the cover. Nick forces Rey out the ring as Rhyno drags Jeff over to his corner. He tags Austin and they perform a double suplex on Jeff. Rey tries to come in but the referee stops him. As the ref is distracted Rhyno slides out the ring and grabs two chairs as Austin hits a stunner to Jeff. Rhyno slides back in while the ref is still occupied and sets one up. He places Jeff's head on the chair. He swings the other chair and a THWACK is heard. Jeff just moved his head in time. Jeff runs over to his corner and tag's Rey in as Rhyno leaves the ring. The ref kicks the chairs out the ring. Rey immediately goes for the big moves on Austin. He connects with a hurricanrana and covers Austin 1...2...Austin kicks out. Rey whips Austin into the ropes and Austin bounces back and ducks under an attempted drop kick. Rey jumps up and kicks Austin in the gut and sets him up on the ropes. He runs and hits the 619. He covers Austin 1...2...Austin kicks out Rey can't believe it. JR: I thought it was over there. King: We all did JR. Rey picks Austin up as Jeff enters the ring. Rhyno tries to get in but the ref stops him. Rey holds Austin so Jeff can get in a sucker punch. Jeff swings; he misses Austin and hits Rey. JR: Did Austin duck there? King: I dunno, let's check the replay. The replay of Jeff's swing is shown. It shows that Jeff intentionally hit Rey. JR: What's gong on King? King: I dunno JR. Jeff has a grin on his face as he walks over to Rey. He turns to Austin and they shake hands. The fans boo madly. Austin and Jeff beat down on Rey. Jeff picks Rey up and holds him as Austin kicks him in the gut and hits a stunner. The ref calls for the bell. Rhyno is in now and Jeff and Austin hold Rey up as Rhyno runs and hits a hellacious Gore. King: Gore, Gore, Gore! JR: This is sick! Jeff climbs to the top as Austin and Rhyno hold Rey on the floor. Jeff dives off and hits the Swanton Bomb. They all throw Rey out of the ring. Austin's theme hits and he demands the ring attendant throws him some beers. He hands a beer to Rhyno and one to Jeff. They open them, smash the cans together and drink. JR: What the hell just went down King? King: I have no idea JR! Austin, Rhyno and Jeff slide out the ring and begin walking to the back while the fans boo them. Jeff grabs a fans Rock sign and rips it up, another fan shouts something to Austin and he gets a slap from Stone Cold. The walk to the back as SG Revelation cuts to commercials. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Commercial Break~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The lights go off all around the arena and the crowd go wild as Rob Zombie Sinister Urge hits the stomp-o-tron speakers and the crowd cheer. The top of the steel ramp fills with smoke and out runs Edge wearing his intercontinental title around his waist. He run down the ramp and slides into the ring to the fans delight. He takes off his title belt and gives it to the ref. Edges music cuts short and Christians hits. The fans begin to boo as a golden shower of pyro falls upon the ramp and Christian walks out. As Christian walks down the ramp he makes indications that the intercontinental belt belongs around his waist. JR: Well King you can be sure that there is no love lost between these two great competitors and brothers. King: Yeah two former partners who will now be fighting each other for the intercontinental title. The bell rings and the match gets underway. Christian goes straight after Edge he grabs Edge in a headlock. Edge pushes Christian away and on to the ropes. Christian comes back at Edge to clothesline him but Edge ducks and thrusts Christians head into the mat. Edge then goes for the pin. The ref counts 1 2 but Christian kicks out. Edge argues with the referee allowing Christian time to recover. Christian grabs Edge and forces him into the corner. Christian the barrages Edge with thunderous rights and lefts. Edge falls to the ground. Christian then moves to the outside of the ring and lifts the apron up. JR: Now where is he going? Christian pulls out two chairs and throws them into the ring. The ref did not permit this as Edge staggered to get up Christian was arguing with referee Earl Hebner. Christian plants Edge with an unprettier on to a steel chair. the ref counts 1...2...3 and the bell goes as the crowd boo Christians music plays and he is given the title belt. Suddenly from the crowd comes Rhyno. He dives in the ring as Edge is getting up. He runs at Edge for a gore but misses and plants Christian. JR: That'll teach him. Rhyno can't believe what he's done. He quickly runs up the ramp whilst Christian is still out cold in the middle of the ring. ~~~~~~~~~Commercial Break~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If Ya Smell! Hits the PA and the Rock comes onto the stage. He is being cheered like mad. He walks to the ring. He climbs the steps, climbs the ropes and poses for the adoring fans. He climbs down and paces back and forth in the ring waiting for Benoit. Benoit's music play's but Benoit comes from the crowd and blindsides the Rock. The ref signals for the bell. JR: We're underway here. Benoit begins the assault on Rock. He knocks the Rock to the floor and begins stomping him. He immediately goes for a Crippler Crossface. Rock fights his way out of it. Rock begins his attack on Benoit with an array of punches. Benoit is reeling against the ropes. Rock raises his hand, spits on it and connects with a blow, which send Benoit over the top. JR: It's mayhem king. Rock slides to the outside and starts to work away on Benoit. He goes to whip Benoit into the ring steps but Benoit counters and whips Rock towards the steps. Rock jumps over the steps and turns round. Benoit runs and baseball slides into the steps, making them hit the Rock! JR: Benoit sure is inventive. Benoit throws Rock in the ring and follows him in. Benoit begins to work on the Rock. He locks in the Crippler Crossface and Rock is screaming with pain. Rock struggles to the ropes making Benoit release the hold. Benoit picks Rock up and whips him into the ropes. Rock ducks an attempted clothesline and bounces of the ropes. Rock hits a clothesline and Benoit is down when the camera cuts to a crowd shot. JR: Who is that walking down to the front row? King: It's Ric Flair! Security try to stop Flair but he waves a ticket in their faces. JR: He bought a ticket! King: Are you surprised? Ressurection has been huge so far. Flair walks down to his seat and shakes hands with a few fans. Rock notices Flair and signals Just Bring it to Flair. Benoit, noticing Rock being distracted does a scissors sweep and locks in the Crippler Crossface. JR: It's over King. Benoit has the move locked in and Rock is screaming in pain. The fans are cheering. Suddenly their cheers turn to jeers and the camera cuts to the entranceway. Austin, Jeff and Rhyno are walking to ringside. Austin and Jeff walk round to where Benoit has the Crippler Crossface locked in. Austin and Jeff slide in the ring. Jeff stomps Benoit, breaking the hold. JR: Ring the damn bell. King: It's a Title Match, no DQ. JR: It still isn't right King! The referee gets in Jeff's face. Jeff and the ref argue. Jeff pushes the ref, the ref pushes Jeff. Austin spins the ref round and hits a Stunner. Benoit has got to his feet. He turns round. Rhyno runs and hits a Gore! King: Gore Gore Gore! JR: You say it like it's a good thing. Benoit is down. Rock doesn't know what is going on. Rhyno pulls the Rock onto Benoit. Jeff revives the ref. He counts 1...2...3! Rock wins! The fans are booing. JR: Rock wins it, but he had a lot of help. King: A win is a win JR. Rhyno slides out the ring and grabs the undisputed belt. He slides back in and hands it to the Rock. The Rock's theme hits and he climbs the turnbuckle to celebrate. Jeff and Rhyno leave the ring as Flair jumps the barricade. Jeff and Austin beat down the security at ringside. JR: This is sick King! King: I like it! Rock jumps off the turnbuckle and sees Flair. Flair calls for a mic. Flair: Rock, congratulations on your win. Now you will be wondering why I am here, with Jeff, Austin and Rhyno. Well can you remember around November last year? Three letters? N...W...A! JR: Say it isn't so King! Flair: Remember our battle with Vince? Remember who won! We did! We finished Stomping Ground! We were the better team! But Stomping Ground came back, and that made me absolutely sick! So I devised a little plan. Become CEO of SG, make certain signings, and let the games begin. JR: Flair is despicable! Flair: The plan has worked perfectly. But why have we helped Rock win? Well Rock... Flair extends his hand, Rock shakes it. Flair: I would love to offer you a place in NWA... Rock nods. He leaves go of Flair's hand and turns round as Flair says... Flair: ...If you were good enough! Get him boys! As Flair utters these words Jeff, Austin and Rhyno begin a disgusting attack on Rock. The fans are booing, almost immediately the fans begin to cheer as Christian and HBK run down to the ring with chairs. NWA clear out the ring as HBK and Christian slide in. They talk trash to NWA as Rock gets up. JR: Finally some support, plus Christian will want revenge on Rhyno for the Gore earlier. HBK says something to Christian as Rock gets to his feet. HBK and Christian swing the chairs and hit Rock with a hellacious Con-Chair-To. Christian picks Rock up and HBK connects with a Sweet Chin Music to Rock's chin. The fans boo. Flair climbs in the ring with Rhyno, Jeff and Austin. Flair: (Laughing) Rock, let me welcome you to the new era in sports entertainment. The NWA era! NWA viciously beat an already beaten Rock. Benoit slides in the ring and tries to help out the Rock but is beaten down. Suddenly Rey Mysterio, Booker T, Hulk Hogan and Edge run to the ring. JR: Yet more back up, I hope these aren't in NWA. SG and NWA start trading blows. This goes on for a few minutes, the brawl spills to the outside with neither side getting the advantage. Rock, Austin and Flair are still in the ring. Rock and Austin get in each other's faces when from the crowd comes Lance Storm, he has two chairs and is wearing a SG shirt. He slides in the ring and throws a chair to Rock. Rock catches it and Lance swings and connects with a one man Con-Chair-To. Rock is down and out. JR: This is hideous King, I am speechless. King: Flair has taken this too far, way too far! Lance starts to stomp on Rock's bloodied carcass and taunts him. He even signals Just Bring It. Lance stands over the Rock in the middle of the ring. Lance pulls one of his arm pads off, and signals for the People's Elbow. JR: This is the ultimate insult King. Lance bounces off the ropes. He jumps over Rock, bounces off the opposite ropes and hits a People's Elbow on the Rock. Lance rips his SG shirt off to reveal a NWA shirt. The fans are silent with shock. Lance waves the shirt in front of the Rock, the Rock tries to grab the shirt but Lance kicks him down. JR: Someone stop these sick people. Lance pulls a lighter from his pocket. The NWA spit on the remains of the shirt. Lance picks up Rock's undisputed belt. He places it on his shoulder and parades around the ring. He climbs the ropes and raises the belt, mocking the Rock. He jumps down and throws the belt down on the Rock's head. Lance's theme hits as the fans boo and the copyright message comes on the screen.
