Saskatchewan Roughriders

(This a fictional website and intended merely for entertainment purposes.) Beginning with the 2002 season, the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CSFL will be owned and operated by Christopher Dunn. Dunn made his debut in the league by hiring a new coach and participating in the 2002 CSFL rookie draft.

O'Leary Named as New Coach

The Roughriders named former Notre Dame and Georgia Tech head coach George O'Leary as the team's new coach. O'Leary is perhaps best known for his resume scandal during his brief tenure at Notre Dame. Dunn said, "We hired Mr. O'Leary for his success at Georgia Tech. We do not care about paper discrepancies." Also, Harold Smith was hired to take over as offensive coordinator. Smith was formerly a quarterbacks and wide receivers coach in the CFL. Ron Estay was hired as the new defensive coordinator. Estay formerly served as a defensive line coach in the CFL.
