This section is basicly a biased based collection of opinions about a had full of parts that I have installed to my car and my thoughts thus far. To sum that all up I am just rambling about why the parts on my car are so good, or so bad.
Reviewed Product: GReddy(Trust)Front upper strut tower bar
MSRP: $99.17
Place of purchase: NOPIonline.com
Install ease:9/10
Over-All rating: 10/10
Comments: This is a nice strut tower bar that is a relativly good bargin. The price is good for a name brand tower bar and the functon is as good as it gets (speaking in tower bar terms). I think it is worth it and the only complaint I have is that it took me 3 min to realize that I was about to install it upside down. This noticably stiffend up the front end but it did require more grip to be called on apon my old and worn tires and they are just not up to the task as of now so now the car will understeer until I get in the gas around a turn but that is due to crappy tires not the tower bar. I am impressed with the level of quality of this trust product and I do recomend this additon to your S13 or S14. (the bar fits both)
Reviewed Product: Hella 5200K H1 HID Kit
MSRP: $450.00
Place of purchase: www.hella.com
Install ease:5/10
Over-All rating: 9/10
Comments: When choosing this upgrade I was looking for something that would compliment the car and would provide an improved night time driving experience. As of this writing the new headlamps have not finished the 50 hour usage break in period. At the end of the time period the expected light output will be full at 3200 lumens and color output at 5200Kelvin. I am pleased with the upgrade and am currently considering installing an additional kit for my high beams.
My reason for choosing Hella...
Hella combines the performance characteristics of a global player with the advantages of a middle-sized company. With innovative products, systems and moduls in the fields of lighting technology and electronics. Hella is the one of the top addresses in the international automotive supplier industry. Its productions methods and facilities comply with the same high technical and technological standards throughout the world.
Reviewed Product: Yokohama ES100 Tires
MSRP: $400.00
Place of purchase: www.tirerack.com
Install ease:N/A
Over-All rating: 9/10
Comments: After using the Kumho 711 tires that came with my rims for their life. One might think that my car was equipped with competition rain tires now. The road holding ability is great and the ride is not compairable to the crappy kumho. Yokohama has developed a new loyal customer in me. Now lets just hope that the tires last and the rear tires will hold up to the task of a turbo 2.0L beast.
