HALO'S RODGER DODGER PLACE

Halo's Rodger Dodger Place,Hotwheels Rodger Dodger collection with casting information

We all have our hobbies. Some of us have obsessions. I love Hotwheels RODGER DODGERS! :D I have created this page to show off my Hotwheels Rodger Dodger collection and I have attempted to include some interesting facts/info about this awesome Hotwheels casting which, some say ,is a cross between a Dodge Charger and a Dodge Challenger with some Mattel humor thrown in ;). If you have something you think I should include or information I do not have, please feel free to email me.

More variations of the original plum and a gold redline Rodger Dodgers *COOL* photos curtesy of Chris "Redline" Crappe.

Here is my custom green HALO Rodger Dodger close up. Isn't she a Beaut! Customized By themadscientist. A gift from the RLC K101 :D

The yellow HWC Rodger Dodger was offered to the first 5,000 members of the HWC in 2001 and the remaining cars were offered to the next 5,000 (I was in one of the lucky second group of members that were offered this car)The total run was 5040.The green HWC RD at the top of this page is the rarer variation of this one at 1500 run. The owners of this car were also given a FREE car, dubbed the "APOLOGY COUGAR" because of problems with damaged cards on the yellow RD (mine wasn't even damaged:)

Here is that APOLOGY COUGAR.

This is my absolute favorite Mattel HotWheels Rodger Dodger that I have in my collection. I do have favorite CUSTOMS like the HALO RD at the top of the page and others. I found this '74 plum metal base mint in pkg at the 2004 DALLAS NATIONALS Convention after a loooong night of room to room hopping and swapping ;)

NO! I do NOT have this one! :^{ But that gives me something to LONG for :^D RARE BLUE Rodger Dodger! Isn't she purty!!!

BUT, I do have this one! Thank God and Mattel for remakes :D 2003 NATIONALS CONVENTION Rodger Dodger.

Here is another yellow Rodger Dodger. This one issued in the mainline in 2001.It is simply called, Rd 186.

Rodger Dodgers must look good in green. This one is from the Spares 'n' Strikes series of 2002. There are several card variations and wheel variations of this...even small wheel/big wheel in back variations. I have most, I think.

Here are a couple of wheel error Rodger Dodgers. An Awesome gift from HOOP. The top one is a Spares 'n Strikes RD with big wheels all the way around. The other is a #186 with wheels reversed, small wheels in back.

This was an unfortunate mishap which occured when I attempted to customize my own car. All customs you will see on this page, other than this poor Rodger Dodger ,were done by someone less vicious and more talented than myself :D

This is my mint in package GOLD CHROME Rodger Dodger. I also have a couple of loose played with ones. This came out in 1979. There is also a Gold with redline tires from '76 in the picture above with the plum variations.

And, yet another GOLD CHROME Rodger Dodger..This one from 1977 the "Drag Stripper."

This is the COP RODS Rodger Dodger from 2000. I also have the variation of this with a serial number on the quarter panel.

This is the 30th Anniversary edition Rodger Dodger commemorating the '74 plum RD in 1998.

Everyone loves the Treasure Hunts. Here is the sharpest one of all. Gorgeous Rodger Dodger in black from 2001.

The black one was sooooooo sharp, I had to have this one with a HotWheels watch! :)

Here is another Treasure Hunt Rodger Dodger I recently aquired. It is on the short European card.

The conventions always have the coolest cars. Here is the 1998 Convention Rodger Dodger. I nabbed this one off EBAY. :)

These are AWESOME patriotic JC Whitney boxed Rodger Dodgers in red and blue from 2002. GORGEOUS cars!

Look in the far left top corner and you will see why I had to have this exclusive set from Target 2003.

Here is that GORGEOUS car close up! WOWSA! Don't it make ya want another!?!?!? :D

This sharp RAPTOR Rodger Dodger came out of a 5-pack. Gotta love those green wheels:D

If you love Rodger Dodgers you have got to love Challengers! Here are some AWESOME Dixies along with a Revin' Rebel by MB and a Daytona. These were an AWESOME gift from hwmongoose, and I just LOVE them!

There is also a rare blue/indigo Dixie Challenger. I will have to put this one on my wish list. Photo curtesy of Chris "Redline" Crappe.

Here are some loose Rodger Dodgers along with some customs by Terry leonard and Skunkworks. The RD looks good in ragtop.

This was a gift and joint effort by and from themadscientist, 57chevygirl57 and rodscustoms. A WIRED , flamed Rodger Dodger for RLC K102. :)

Here is a GORGEOUS custom TOY FAIR Rodger Dodger by the TOYMAN.

This Rodger Dodger was a gift and customized by Terry Leonard. It has antifreeze paint job and redlines tires! That homie looks suspicious! :-0

This was a gift and is a custom by 57chevygirl57, 2002 RLC K102 Kindergarten, MISS HALO car :D (one of my favs)

Here is another custom Rodger Dodger with flames in purple! This one a gift from GOLD 4X4. :)

This is no Rodger Dodger, but is such a cool custom I had to add it too:) I bought this one from HWC Custom board ( I love General Lees, I love blown engines, I love super birds). This custom by EXOKUTIONER from HWC custom Board.

Here is an AWESOME custom Camaro by ZCARP! I won this in User Name Contest Oct. 2004! I just had to show it here!

My daughter Brandi and I at the HotWheels National Convention in Dallas , April 2004.
