Member Biographies
Dennis and Vicki White - Team Leaders Dennis and Vikki White are both teachers. Vikki is coordinator of the First Year Experience Program at Emmanuel College. Dennis teaches English and Social Studies in the alternative school in Jackson County, Georgia. They have both been involved with short term missions since the early 80's. They led a month long mission trip to Mexico City in the summer of 1988. "We hope to see God create a heart for missions in the team members, and produce a work of grace in the lives of the people we meet."

	Ben Harper - Student Leader Class: Senior Activities: Ben graduated from Emmanuel College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies. He has a supporting role in "Annie Get Your Gun"-produced be Emmanuel College. He also just finished serving as an officer in the Christian Service Organization of Emmanuel. Mission Experience: Several missions trips to Germany, Mexico, and Peru (3 times). He has future plans to work in Peru as a missionary. Hope to get out of the trip: "God always does something very different and amazing each time. I'm just going along for the ride."

Sara White - Student Leader Class: Senior Activities: Sarah is a Communications (media) Major at Emmanuel. Mission Experience: This is her 8th mission trip, and her fourth time to Peru. Hope to get out of the trip: "I hope to continue building relationships with the people and kids I have visited each time. I love the country and I really have a burden for the people. I can't wait to go."

	Tracy Hanson Class: Senior Activities: Tracy is a Christian Ministries major at Emmanuel. She works with youth and children at a local church. Mission Experience: This is her second time to South America, she spent two months in Braazil last summer. Hope to get out of the trip: "I hope to follow Gods will for my life and build lasting relationships. I wish to serve in any way possible."

Matt Sides Class: Freshman Hope to get out of the trip: "On this trip I hope to grow closer to Christ, I also intend on bringing the gospel to people who are in need."

	Michelle Monroe Class: Freshman Activities: Michelle is a Secondary Math Education major at Emmanuel. She is a member of the Lady Lions Intercollegiate Basketball team here at Emmanuel as well. She is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Mission Experience: This is her first mission trip. Hope to get out of the trip: "I hope to be able to show the love of Christ to those who have never been shown it and I hope to be an encouragement to those who may be struggling with their faith."

Eric Lovin Class: Freshman Activities: Eric is a Psychology major here at Emmanuel. Mission Experience: This is Eric's first mission trip. Hope to get out of the trip: "I just want to be used by God and be open to what he has planned."

	Matt White Class: Senior in High School Activities: Matt has a band, in which he plays the drums and guitar. He intends to attend Emmanuel in the fall. Mission Experience: Honduras and Los Angelas, California. Hope to get out of the trip: "I want to make some good relationships with the people and God."

Shawn Goins Class: Freshman Activities: A Christian Ministries major and a member of the Emmanuel College Singers ministry group. Mission Experience: Daytona Beach, Florida Hope to get out of the trip: "My mission is to bring the love of God to kids who are desperate for someone to love, as well as to see kids cry out to the one true God who sent his only son to die for everyone. Even those in Peru. I pray that my life would be changed as well as those in Peru."

	Stephanie Asbury Class: Freshman Activities: Stephanie is a Biology major here at Emmanuel, who hopes to enter the medical ministry field. She is a member of the Lady Lions Basketball team, and a member of the Student Outreach Services Street Ministry team. Mission Experience: Los Angeles, CA in 1999. Hope to get out of the trip: "I just want to see lives renewed and hopes restored in Christ throughout the lives of the people of Peru."
