b. c1620 Amsterdam, Neth Arr 1641 Anthony WAS SECRETARY OF THE COLONY OF RENSELAERSWYCK THE MOUNTAIN,"ANTHONY'S NOSE" IN THE HUDSON HIGHLAND (near the east end of the Bear Mountain Bridge) WAS NAMED FOR HIM.

Here is the information I have seen on the Internet:
Johannes de Hooges (of Mechelen, son of Jan de Hooges and Catherina De Draijere, accountant, stockholder in the West India Company) and Maria Tijron (bp. 7 Feb 1576 in Antwerp, dau. of Anthony Tyron and Catharina Karneels or Daneels), either married or published banns on 21 Mar 1608 in Amsterdam.
Their children were (bp. in Amsterdam?):
Johannis, bp. 1 Feb 1606/7.
Katharijna, bp. 11 Aug 1611.
Marije, bp. 19 Oct 1614.
Leonora, bp. 7 Nov 1617.
Anthony, bp. 14 Dec 1620.
Maria Tijron had a brother, Joannes/Hans, bp. 31 May 1572 in Antwerp.
