The Children's Choir of Golden was formed by the Golden Community Choirs in 2002 with the intention of offering the highest quality choral music. Our goal is to enrich the lives of children by making music accessible, and by guiding them to success in challenging endeavors, individually and as part of a group. Various styles of music are introduced in a setting that enables children to have fun and try new things; while achieving a high level of personal readiness, responsibility and autonomy in a group setting. Children in first through sixth grades are invited to participate in the Children's Choir of Golden, which requires no auditions. |
The Children's Choir of Golden rehearses every Monday evening, September through May, 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at Calvary Episcopal Church, 14th and Arapahoe Street in Golden Colorado with Allison Olsson as the conductor. The Children's Choir of Golden presents 2 concerts a year; one in December and one in April. In the spring, we collaborate with the Westside Flyers.
