Welcome to Gamecheck! Formerly known as PSX Gamecheck, I've decided to drop the PSX so that I can cover more games with this site. Here you can expect to find reviews for great games past and present, along with some FAQs and guides to help you through them. But, I'm not the only one who will be contributing opinions to the site. Several of my video game dependant friends will write for the site along with me, so you should see many different styles of writing. The site will be updated regularly, or whenever new content needs to be added. Anyway, I will have a forum set up with a message board sometime in the near future, and if you have any suggestions on anything I could add to the site, send me an email at Playstman@aol.com. Site News: 6-23-03 Ok, things are up and running very nicely now. FAQs for Halo, Grand Theft Auto III, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City have now been posted. More to come! Site News: 6-9-03 Big changes for the FAQs section! It's really outdated, so I'm going to clear everything out and start over. Chad Steele's amazing FFVII guide will remain because I know him, therefore I know it'll stay updated. Now, the chances are very likely that some of the FAQs posted now will show up again. The main reason I'm doing this is to get the FAQs updated, and to keep things organized with the writers. Also, my own FAQ will be posted later this month, so look out for it. Site News: 6-4-03 Well, after a few days of morbid laziness, Andrew Wheat's first review has finally been posted on Gamecheck! It's for Luigi's Mansion, and I must admit, this guy has great potential. I corrected a few minor grammar errors, but his sentence structure still needs a little improvement. But, he did make me laugh and I really like his writing style. I'm not sure what his next review will be, but mine will likely be Grand Theft Auto III. Most of my free time is now devoted to working on my Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 FAQ, so I'm not going to put a release date on that review yet. Also, I've replaced Kao Megura's GREAT Final Fantasy VII guide with an even better one, written by a good friend of mine. Even though it cost me a HUGE chunk of web space to host, I'm glad to be associated with a FAQ as awesome as his. Truly one of the best ever written! In smaller news, I reset the site's counter so I could get a more accurate number now that the site has changed. I also moved it to a secret location on the page so it's a little out of the way. I may decide to add individual counters to the reviews. Maybe. Site News: 5-30-03 I added my first review for a PS2 game! All-Star Baseball 2004 is up, and the review section now has some nifty litle dividers! Also, my friend Andrew has written a great review for Luigi's Mansion, and it'll be posted before Sunday. Site News: 4-26-03 Nothing big, just another review added. I've finished another one, and it'll be up in a matter of days. The one I posted today I consider to be my best work yet, so check it out.
