And The Music Played On - 5 - Short Story

"And The Music Played On - Continued"

After closing the door, he turned back to where he had left her standing in the middle of the room. With a hungry, yet gentle, look in his eye, he wrapped his arms around her. As she looked up at him, he kissed her tenderly, then feeling her willingness, became more demanding.
As his hands started to slide further down her back, she pulled away. "Wait! There's something I've got to tell you. I can't do this and not tell you first."
Sighing, he let his head fall in exasperation, "What is it that's so urgent?"
"Bobby, I know that this may not be the best time to ask you this, but... Do you ever want to have children?"
"What!"
"Please don't get frustrated with me, but answer my question. Don't be hasty because of the moment, I need an honest answer."
"Okay, I will tell you the truth. I never really thought about it, but no, not really. Not now anyway. Maybe someday in the far future. Why are you asking me this?"
"Bobby, I can never have kids. It was something that happened when I was born. Do you still want me even if I can never give you kids?"
"Samantha, I don't care about that. I love you for you and not anything like that. Kids or no kids, you are still you and like I said, that's what I love. So yes, I definitely still want you! Anyway, that makes thing a lot easier for now, we have less to worry about."
Reaching up, she moved her hands behind his head and pulled it down level with her own. Finding his lips, she agreed to his statement with a passionate kiss.
Stopping her, he whispered, "No, I know what it can feel like. Sam, will you let me show you? Please."
Nodding, she dropped her hands and stood looking into his eyes, expectant.
Seeing her standing there, completely his with no inhibitions, not at all afraid of him, made him want her even more. Feeling the last of his own fears disappear, he knew, then that there were things to come that night that would surprise them both. Caressing her sides with the tips of his fingers, he moved his head to find her throat with his lips. Using his tongue to explore, he kissed her neck, and touching only with his fingers, ran his hands inside her shirt.

As his hands brushed against her bare skin for the first time, Sam felt an unexpected tingle everywhere he touched. She expected to feel things, but if just his touch could do this, she couldn't imagine the emotions to come. Feeling him lift her shirt, she moved to make it easier for him to remove.

Dropping her shirt and bra to the floor, Bobby rested his hands on her back and leaned to kiss her bare shoulders. Flicking his tongue over her as he did, he heard her sigh. He knew that he was accomplishing his purpose, this was to be an experience that neither of them would ever forget. Quickly removing his own shirt, he stood and looked down at her face.

Moving for the first time other than to respond to his actions, Sam raised her hand to his chest. Running her fingers over it, she felt the softness of his blond curls. Reaching up, she slipped her hands around his shoulders.

Just closing his eyes, Bobby felt a hard jolt of passion run through him as her virgin hands explored his chest and shoulders. Submitting willingly to her touch, he lost himself in it. Then letting his own hands slip down her back, he made a decision and, picking her up, carried her to the bed.
Sitting her on the edge of the bed, he turned and walked to the bathroom.
Hearing the shower start, Sam wondered what was going on. Then slipping out of the rest of her clothes, she lay down and pulled the covers over her. She knew that he hadn't left her, he was coming back. Thinking about what was happening, she realized just how fast everything was really moving. Not counting the night that she slept through, they had only met... this morning. She didn't care, she knew that this was right. Every fiber of her body knew it, too. Every inch that he had touched still tingled. She could retrace his every move. Closing her eyes, she didn't hear the bathroom door open.
"What's this. You trying to go to sleep on me? I'm not through with you yet."
Reopening them, she looked at the figure in front of her. With no other lights on but the single black light in the ceiling, it seemed to her that Bobby's light blue eyes glowed with an inner fire. As he came closer, she could see the beads of water still glistening on his body. Even with his long blond hair wet, he was an awesome sight. With him standing there in nothing but a towel, she could see the magnificent build of his body. His broad and powerful shoulders and chest; strong, yet gentle, arms; leading into long, caressing fingers. Letting her eyes rove upward to his face, she stared into his eyes, ice-blue and glowing; then, to his hair, silky, blond, wavy, even wet, she wanted to touch it; his lips, so fine and soft; but, then, everything about him seemed soft and sensual.
"Haven't you ever heard that it's not polite to stare? What are you looking at?"
Smiling, Samantha didn't feel in the least shy about her reply, "I'm looking at you."
"See anything that you like. Perhaps you would like a closer look?"
"Yeah, I would like to get a better look at you, but, nah, I don't really see too much that I like. Only everything that God gave you."
Walking to her side of the bed, he stood above her smiling.
Reaching out, Sam, not even hesitating, slipped her hand into the top of his towel and pulled it free. As it fell, she gazed into his eyes. There she saw a small amount of surprise, but mostly she saw a desire and passion to match her own. Pulling back the covers, she held out her hand to him.
Taking her outstretched hand, Bobby allowed himself to be drawn down onto the bed. Moving the covers back up and over them, he curled his damp body around her.
Responding to him, she eased her arms around him. Stroking his back with her fingertips. She lightly tickled him with her nails.
"Remember, this is my chance to show you how love can feel." Kissing her, he explored her open mouth with a seeking, searching tongue. Feeling her responses, he continued the kiss, but slacked off to let her experiment with him.

Lying next to Bobby, with nothing between them, Sam felt inexpressible feelings rushing through her from head to toe. She felt an inner warmth that she knew he was creating. As his hands started to move more urgently over her body, she began to feel complete ecstasy.
Starting with her mouth, he moved downward over her throat and chest with his lips. Teasing with his tongue, he felt her shiver as he slipped one hand all the way down her side to her thigh. Mot moving anything but his fingertips, he stroked her silky skin as he pulled it back up to her arms.

With his warm breath on her neck, warm, shooting sensations of delight rocked her to the very core. His hands moved up her body. As he traced the inside curve of her arm, Sam had to fight to keep from crying out. These exquisite feelings coursing through her were beyond what she had ever imagined that it might be like. Feeling the warm suction on her neck, a sudden flush of yearning washed over her. She wanted him, right then, she wanted him to take her completely.

The next morning, as Bobby opened his eyes, the first thing he remembered was the wild night before. Lying beside Sam with his arms entwined around her, he thought of what it had felt like. Last night he had discovered feelings that he had assumed were lost after the first time. He now knew that with someone as special as Sam, that those feelings would return every time.
"Bobby? Are you awake?" Sam asked quietly as she felt his movements.
"Yeah. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."
"It's okay, I've been awake for a while. Lying here feeling you breathe and wondering if what I thought happened last night really did happen. I didn't think that I could feel anything like that. It was so wonderful that I don't believe that could have really happened."
"Oh I grant you that it did."
Starting roll to face him, Sam groaned. "Yep! It definitely happened."
Laughing, Bobby said. "I thought you might say that when you tried to move. I knew it would come and I sort-of forgot to warn you."
"I think you forgot on purpose!" Sam grinned at him, "But, I don't guess that it's that bad... considering why."
"I promise it won't be like that after the next couple of times."
"Who says that there'll be another time?"
Shocked Bobby looked into her eyes, then seeing the playful gleam in them, he growled gently, "Cause I said there will! How's that for an answer?"
"Sounds fine to me," Sam gritted her teeth as she turned over completely to face him, "just give me a day or so first. Anyway, how do you know how long it'll hurt?"
"Don't get me wrong Sam, but you ain't my first as I was for you. I've been the first for one or two other girls, too. You can understand that, can't you?"
Reaching down and grabbing him around the waist, she giggled, "I knew that, stupid! I was just kidding! You ought to have heard yourself! You sounded terrified at what I might say. Personally, I'm glad that you have experience. It didn't hurt as bad as I've heard some girls say it would. So, this may sound dumb, but, thank you."
With a cute smile on his face, he said, "Honey, I was glad to oblige you. And I'll be glad to continue to offer my services for free!"
"You're cute, you know that? Listen, if I'm gonna travel with you all, I want to go back to Lisa's and get my personal things. Can we go sometime this morning? Anyway, this has all happened so perfectly that there's something that I want to get so that you can read it."
"What is it?"
"A story that I wrote. If I tell you what's in it, you'll never believe me, so I'll wait and let you read it. It's eerie that way that all of this has worked out. I wrote it earlier this year... I'll just let you read it."
"Okay."

"Good, she's not here. Come on, let's get the stuff and get out before she comes back. I don't want to face her. Here's my room."
As they entered the room, Bobby gazed around at the walls, amazed, he just stood looking in wonder. "Most of the posters in here are of me and the guys."
"I said you were my favorites. And I meant it."

After she had packed up everything she planned to take, Sam walked over to the dresser and pulled out a thick stack of papers. "Here. It's about you, so I decided that you might like to have the only printed copy. When you read it, don't get the idea that I'm psychic, or psycho, or anything, cause I'm not. It's just weird how some things work out just like you hope. Enjoy it."
Flipping through the pages, Bobby saw his name mentioned over and over. Going back to the first page, he began to read. It began something like this:

'Sam was fed up with her life...'
