This was written for a friend who passed away that the young age of 14. His Crew name was Scorpion. I was 19 when this poem was penned in his memory.

Scorpion

On May 22, 1992, one of our members left,
In our hearts there was a cleft.
Your smile is what we see,
Your memory, we'll always keep.
For a short time, you were part of the Crew,
As a member, we'll always keep you.
We hope you know what that meant,
Into our love and hearts you were sent.
There you'll always be.
We just hope you still see,
We love you.

The Crew was the group of friends that I ran with as a teenager. There were four core members with others drifting in and out over a 8 year period. God, I miss the times with those guys!
