Our crew is one of the few crews I know that truly does everything. As a crew, we've done climbing, rappelling, hiking, kayaking, and more. We do our best not to get tied down to one particular outdoor sport. We play Frisbee together, and this summer, we are planning to participate in BRAG, a weeklong bike ride across Georgia.

Hiking

We go hiking when and where we can. As a crew we have hiked parts of the AT, Jacks River, Pine Mountain, and oodles of other Georgia trails.

 

Climbing

Crew 232 owns and operates a portable climbing wall that the North East Georgia council uses several times a year. We work the Scout Expo, and Winterfest (Venture/Explorer get-together) primarily. We also go to Sandrock, Alabama, and Kurhee (in North Georgia).

 

Kayaking/Rafting

Kayaking is not one of our most common sports. We generally go to the Broad or Nantehela rivers maybe once a year. We go rafting several times a year, usually on the Nantehela or Ocoee Rivers.
