We have all heard the expression “time heals all wounds.” Unfortunately, this is not always true. There are people who are still carrying hurts from long ago. Wounds that are left untended fester and spread infection throughout your entire body. Time only extends the pain if the problem isn’t dealt with.
The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to deal with our hurts, habits and hang-ups once and for all. We do so through fellowship and celebrating God’s healing power in our lives through applying the Biblical Principles found in the Beatitudes. This experience is enriched as we learn how to accept God’s grace in solving our life problems by sharing our struggles, disappointments, strengths, and hopes with one another.
Celebrate Recovery helps us to empty ourselves of all the "junk" that hinders our walk with GOD so that we no longer live as "defeated christians." Only by emptying ourselves, can we be filled. It is a program where we “GET REAL.” with Jesus.“….
Celebrate Recovery is…
1. Based on God’s Word - (Beatitudes) which teaches Wholeness, Growth and Spiritual maturity
2. Emphasizes personal responsibility We no longer play the Blame -Game,and make poor choices. We Depend on Christ ‘s power to make the change.
3. Emphasizes spiritual commitment to Jesus.We totally surrender our lives to Christ. Everybody needs Jesus
4. Utilize the biblical truth that we need each other in order to grow spiritually and emotionally. We don’t get well by ourselves, we need each other.
Teaches fellowship and accountability which are two important parts of spiritual growth.
5. Addresses all types of habits, hurts and hang-ups. There are a limitless number of issues that can be dealt with.
6. Most of all, Celebrate Recovery will strengthen your personal relationship with Christ. As we learn to accept God’s grace and forgiveness in solving our life’s problems, we grow spiritually and develop a closer personal relationship with Him.
